Maggie sat in her room, looking down at her hands in curiosity. She had developed a new power and didn't know how to feel about it. That's a first, isn't it? An empath who doesn't know emotions? She sighed softly and laid back down on the pillow "I need another nap.." she mumbled to herself.

Macy looked at Mel and bit her lip. "Whatever... IT.. was, it worked. She wanted us to shut up, calm down and pay attention. Her hands acted of their own accord and calmed us down, and then the fact that it happened in the first place shut us up," she said and looked at Harry as Mel nodded. Harry flipped through the Book of Elders, muttering to himself. He looked up to find both sisters staring at him intently, and raised an eyebrow.

"What? Don't look at me in that tone of voice.. I will let you know if I've found anything," he said and then gave them a look. "Go.. both of you! Shoo," he said and waved them off toward the door. Both sisters grumbled and he sighed in relief as they stepped out, heading back to the book to do his research.

Macy sighed and glared at the door, and Mel glared at her. "What?!" she asked. Mel rolled her eyes, "You know damn well what!I know that wasn't "research on Shakravus demons" Macy Vaughn.. those are instinct for pete's sake don't treat me like I'm stupid!" "I am NOT treating you like you're stupid!" Macy huffed, when suddenly the door to SafeSpace opened, and Swan opened the door.

"What are you two doing in here? Sorry, I heard yelling," she said and pointed over her shoulder as the girls gave her a deer in the headlights look. She raised an eyebrow, "Well? Out with it, then.. just because Maggie is a manager doesn't mean you guys get to go traipsing around here wherever and whenever you want, you know.." Macy's thoughts raced before she looked down. "You're right, Swan, I'm so so sorry. Maggie let us in to look at the electric wiring for Mel's thesis on preservation of historical architecture. It won't happen again," she said and slipped past her, dragging Mel along.

Mel nodded and smiled, "Yeah.. so.. historical," she said and shook her head, following Macy. "Good one, but you're not getting out of this that easily. You and Harry. Now," she snarled and Macy groaned. "GOD fine! Harry and I are a thing. We finally both admitted to each other how we felt. Kind of. We mostly just made out and then you two interrupted.." she mumbled as Mel grinned. "Finally! Jeez took you long enough! Come on, let go tell Maggie and make some coquito!!" She said, and this time SHE dragged HER out a door.

Maggie came out for sister bonding time later that night, just conveniently in time for the Coquito to be done. She smiled weakly as Macy handed her a cup, grinning through her milk mustache. Maggie giggled and shook her head, giggling yet again as Mel sported one too. "You two are amazing.. and I know I shouldn't be depressed about new powers, we just barely have enough time for our lives as it is, let alone learning to control a new part of it, you know?" she quietly sipped her coquito. "So what did you want to tell me?" she asked and looked at Mel, who looked confused.

"How did you-?" Maggie waved her off. "Not important.. jut talk to me, " she said and Mel smirked and looked over at Macy, and the empath tilted her head before squealing. "Oh my god really?!" she jumped up and down before throwing her arms around her sisters neck. Macy all but choked on her drink, setting her cup down carefully with wide eyes. "Mom and Dad, finaly together? Awwww this is so adorable! I'm excited."

Macy smiled softly "Thank you guys.. It's been a journey figuring this all out, especially since Galvin.." she trailed off and shrugged, and both of her sisters put their hand on her shoulders. she cleared her throat, "Also, you may get a talking to from Swan later.. she found us in the electric room, just letting you know." Maggie groaned and leaned her head back. "I'll go deal with it now.. the price of being a secret witch.." she mumbled under her breath and downed her coquito before walking out.

Mel looked at her, and sighed. "I'm going to go make some potions and check on Harry's progress," she looked her up and down. "You go get some sleep, you used your powers a lot yesterday," she said before heading out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Macy let her bathrobe fall to her feet before climbing in the steaming tub, one foot at a time. She carefully sank into the water, shivering as her body acclimated to the intense heat. She lay back, her glass of wine in one hand as she closed her eyes. She remembered the last time she took an actual bath in this bathroom, and Harry had burst in on accident. She had thrown him across the bathroom because she thought he was a demon. She smirked as she realized that she almost wish he would come in now. She could finish what they started earlier.

However, Melanie Vera was right. Again. She was exhausted and needed to get some rest. So MAcy did the responsible thing and headed to bed in her silk bathrobe, kicking off her slippers and laying her head on her pillow. She yawned when the bed dipped next to her as Harry orbed silently. A mischievous grin grew on her face as she sat up. "I'll sleep when I'm dead.." she muttered and pressed her lips into his. Harry flipped them so she was on her back, pinning her hands above her head. Macy Vaugn was not getting any rest that night.
