When I was younger, my family had a lot if cats and we had at least three litters of kittens every year. We'd give away most of the kittens to good homes, but most of the time it one had a birth defect or was the runt, we'd keep it and take care of it. I personally adopted a kitten with a milky eye because I thought no one else would want it.

I'm glad to see black cats getting love. People believe they're bad luck but we've had a bonded pair of female black cats for years and they've protected us from harm so far.
