Chapter 8

Megan wore this today^^

Megan's POV
When Jack tickles me I want to kiss him. When I see him sleep I want to kiss him. When I lay down beside him I want to snuggle up in his chest. Jack Glinsky was a confusing guy. I didn't know whether he saw me as a friend one minute or a girlfriend the next.
"Hey. So I was thinking maybe.." He rolled over on top of me. We were laying on the bed. He had his shirt off. The only thing he had on was grey sweatpants that said magcon down the side. He looked at my lips then at my eyes then my lips again. He leaned down just enough I could barely feel his lips. Then I hear,"You awake?" It was Shawn.
"Uh yeah. Why?"
"I was wondering if you want to go hang with me downstairs today. They have a recoding booth set up downstairs. Wanna come join before magcon today?" He asked.
"Uh sure. Let me get dressed." I rolled over and looked at the time on my phone. 9:34. I look around and Jack G and Jack J are asleep. Which means it was only a dream. Great. Why can't that happen in real life?

I get changed in my magcon clothes and head downstairs. It was quiet. Only a few people were down there I saw Shawn look up and he smiled and motioned me over to him.
"You like?" He said in a funny voice. I laughed at his comment and said,"Yeah it's really pretty." I looked around and put my fingers on the piano I haven't played since my mom died 4 years ago.
"Wanna play?" Shawn asks me.
"Uh. No I'm good."
"Alright so what are you singing tonight?" He asks me.
"I don't know yet. What about you?" I ask.
"Same here." We sat in silence for a couple minutes then Shawn said,"Wait! What if we did a duet today?! I know exactly what song we could sing!"
"And what's that?" I said.
"Well it's a love song.."
"It's okay. I mean we are just friends." I said. He looked disappointed. "Yeah." He said.
"So what's the song?" I say snapping him out of his daze.
"Oh it's All of Me by John Legend. It's really popular right now." He said. We started practicing together. It's a good thing we both had out magcon clothes on cause by the time we finished it was already time for the meet and greet.

Meet and greet was over and Cameron called me and Shawn to go on stage. Everyone had signs and screamed so loud I couldn't hear myself think. One of them said,"Megan's my idol!" Or "Megan is perfect!" I didn't know I had such great fans. We start singing the song and look straight into each other's eyes when I saw Jack G from the corner of my eye run away. I wonder what happened.
