Samantha Harris is an idiot. I hate her. I hope the texts I sent this morning hurt. I walk over to my friends and start the usual gossip sesh when the topic shifts from gossip to...
"Speak of the devil."
"Shut it, Klarissa."
"But look..."
Klarissa, Brittanae, Taeler and I all give her the evilest, most menacing looks we can muster. Although Taeler looks like she could do better though. She doesn't even look like she's trying. Even with Taeler's half-ass performance, Samantha walks past with her head to the dirt. I smile. My work here is done.

"Ignore them,Sam."
I try to listen to James and remember what he put as my home screen on my phone: a photo of him with the words ' you'll always have me'. Its not working. If you saw us in a room together, you wouldn't believe Kylana and I used to be friends. Until...

"Sammy, Kylana, time to come in now."
"Yes mummy." Kylana replied.
Wed been playing for hours and Mrs. Jacobs had been making food for us.
"Thanks, mummy." Kylana squealed as she saw all the food.
"Yeah, thanks mummy." I accidentally replied.
I was only seven.
"Why did you call my mum 'mum'?
"I'm sorry, it was an acci-"
"Just because yours is dead doesn't mean you can take mine!" Kylana spat.
"Kylana Stephanie Jacobs! Apologize now! Its OK, Sammy, you can call me whatever you like." Mrs. Jacobs said.
"I never want to see you again Samantha! " Kylana screamed at me,causing me to cry.
