I bounced my leg on the bed as I called Killa again. It went to voicemail and I sighed.
"I told yo' ass my appointment was for 4 o'clock" I mumbled to myself.

Me: if you wasn't gonna be back you could've just took me home so I could get my car

Just as I was about to call Kash my phone rang.
"Hey sis" I said as the FaceTime call connected.
"Have you not been on Facebook?" Ivy asked.
"No why?" I asked opening the app.
"Killa was getting arrested so Rell and nem pulled up and they helped that nigga get away. The police riding deep looking for them" she said.

I shook my head.
"Where the fuck did they go?" I asked.
"Yo' house, Rell just called me to bring him his car there. Unc must've picked them up" she said.
"Come get me, I'm finna send you my location" I said.
"Bet" she said before hanging up.
Now I felt bad for being so mad at him but at the same time I didn't. I had told him not to leave in the first place but he insisted on making a play.
I grabbed all my stuff packing my bag before my phone dinged.

I grabbed the extra key off the dresser and locked the door. I quickly made my way to Rell's car.
"You look mad as hell" she laughed.
"He a fucking dumbass. I have one dumbass bestfriend" I said getting in the car.
"Aye, you think he ran track in school?" she asked.
I wanted to laugh but my nerves were too bad.

I walked into my house hearing several voices.
"Look at the lil getaways" Ivy said as we walked into the living room.
"Everyday I ask myself why I couldn't be the only child" Rell said.
"Where's Killa?" I asked.
"In the office with Pops" Kash said walking into the living room with a bag of chips.
I went to my room and threw my bag down not feeling like unpacking. I climbed into my bed as my door opened.
"Why you ain't stay at my house?" Killa asked walking in.
"I wasn't finna stay there till yo' wanted ass came back" I said.
"Oh you got jokes" he said.
"I told you not to go. I told you I had a bad feeling and what did you do? You laughed at me" I said.
"Aight, you was right bruh" he said.
"You leaving with me?" he asked.
"No, my dad is home" I said.
"I wanna stay here anyways" I added.
"Why you acting like this?" he asked.
"I'm not acting like nothing" I said.
"Cap" he said.
"I'm finna take a nap" I said.
He took his shoes off and walked to the bed.
"Are you tryna get us killed?" I asked.
"Mmcht, ain't nobody worried about Satan" he said getting in my bed.
"Killa I'm not playing" I said.
"Killa?" he asked.
"That's yo' name ain't it?" I asked.
Suddenly there was a pillow over my face. This man was suffocating me.
I grabbed his arms trying to push him away.
"Whatever yo' problem is dead that shit now lil bruh. You hear me?" he asked.
"I said do you hear me?" he repeated.
I nodded and he pulled the pillow off. I mugged him as I tried to catch my breath.
"Stay yo' mad ass here then" he said putting his shoes back on.
I didn't reply as I watched him walk out.
