35. Get Out

Abhi was getting ready for office and was about to leave when his mobile beeped with a message. He opened it and gritted his teeth reading the message.

Very good morning, Mr. Murthy. Ah, I just wanted to warn you that whatever we talked yesterday, should remain our secret. No need of anyone to know. Especially Golu and Ansh. You better keep it in mind or else.. Or else you know I can do anything and everything. Like I said before. Have a good day. ;)

Abhi clenched his fist tight and hurried down the stairs. This Manik Malhotra is seriously getting in my nerves.

"Ansh.. Ansh!" Ansh who was drinking juice, spit it out a bit hearing his loud voice. Nandini made eww face and giggled. Ansh glared at her before replying Abhi.

"Yes bhai. I'm here. At breakfast table." Abhi reached there while Ansh waved his hand at him grinning. Abhi rolled his eyes.

"Ask Ramesh and other butlers not to come for work this weekend. It's off to them." Nandini's face lit up and eyes twinkled with a happiness as she understood what he meant. Ansh frowned.

"Why bhai? Who will work then? We will be busy in office and after returning from office we will be hell tired how can we work so much and-"

"No need of us to work. We are going to picnic, incase you forgot let me remind you." Saying this he picked an apple from the fruit basket and left. Nandini jumped on her place in happiness and hugged Ansh.

"Yesss yessss! Did you hear bhai? He's coming with us. Oh my god! I'm so happy. Yaayyyyy." Ansh who was too shocked to react, came in sense hearing shouts of Nandini and hugged her back grinning widely.

"Yes Nandi. I heard. I'm so much happy. After a long time we will enjoy together." He said getting a bit emotional. Nandini broke the hug and nodded in no.

"Please bhai, don't get emotional. Lets plan how can we make this picnic more and more memorable. Who knows, after this picnic he will ever come with us or not. So lets just collect the memories how much we can." Nandini said smiling faintly and left after squeezing his hand. Ansh kept looking at her vanishing figure with pained look.

"Chaahke bhi nahi chupa sakti tum Nandi ki bhai ko kitna miss karti ho. You don't have to save memories of him, baby. Soon he will become old Abhimanyu Murthy. I'll make sure of it." Said Ansh being determined.

"Aree let's take badminton racket too. We will play there at evening or night. It will be fun." Mukti said who was sitting in Malhotra Mansion with fab 5 and Murthy siblings to discuss about picnic.

"Best idea Mukti. Let's take it. What else?" Nandini asked getting excited. Cabir shouted.

"Arey bahot kuch hai abhi. My lays packets, kurkure, cold drinks, chocolates, fruits, sandwiches, paranthe and-" Manik interrupted him.

"Cabir, we are going for one day picnic. Not for whole week." He mocked. Cabir frowned.

"Haan toh yeh ek hi din ke liye toh hai. Itna toh lagega hi. Hum kitne tired honge vaha. Aur tired honge toh khub bhook lagegi. You carry on cabir, I'm making list." Said Ansh supporting cabir. All shook their heads.

"Bhukkads!" All younger clan said together to which Anshbir ignored them royally. Niyonika and Raj came there and sat with them.

"Guys, we have to tell you something important." Raj said gaining the attention of everyone.

"What happened Dad, anything serious?" Nandini asked worriedly. Raj nodded and looked at Niyonika.

"Bachcha, Raj's cousin passed away today. He just now got a call. We both have to go to our village in Punjab." Everyone's face fell hearing Niyonika. Raj looked at them.
