Chapter 0/Prologue - 'The Start...'

2003, 5 June, Saturday, It is a sunny day. Max and Jax were playing outside with each other, their most favorite game, Hide and Seek. Max was very good at it and Jax always struggled to find him, yet when Max is it he easily finds Jax. "Dinner Time!" A female voice called out. "Coming!" Yelled Max and Jax. "So who won this time?" A male voice asked. "Max again, Dad." Jax answered. "I am good at it, I told you we should play something else." Max said. "Come now boys, dinner is ready you can argue after." their mother said. "Alright Mom.". After dinner the boys went to play with their toys. "Oh I can't wait!" Max said excitedly. "For what?" Jax asked. "Oh, it is tomorrow our Birthday." "Oh I forgot." "I hope we get a Sega Genesis." "Yeah! I want to play Sonic 3 so badly." "I agree. I just want to be Tails so badly" "Why Tails? I mean it is ok if you take him but Sonic is cooler" "No, no. I love sonic but Tails can fly." "Yeah, I guess you have a point."

The next day, Max's and Jax's birthday. As time progressed after they opened the gifts, "Thank you mom and dad. I am so happy you two knew what we wanted!" Max was extremely happy that he and Jax got the Sega Genesis. As they went to cut the cake, a robber with a Glock 19 jumped through the window and pointed it. "Ok, I am here to take all your FUCKING belongings, and if any of you dare to try and stop me..." The robber shot the clock, "...then I will fucking kill any of you!" As the robber threatened to kill the Haves, Max slowly went towards the cake to grab the knife but as he tried to grab it... "Hey!" The robber yelled out to Max, "What the hell do you think you are doing you little bitch?" "N-Nothing..." Max replied with fear. "Oh I see what you are trying to do." The robber aimed the pistol at Max before he pulled the trigger, Carlo jumped to save Max from the bullet and yet the outcome was a bullet in the shoulder. Max grew furious and he grabbed the knife to cut the cake and he jumped onto the robber, he repeatedly stabbed the robber in the chest and as he stopped, he had realized what he has done. Max looked at Jax then at his parents, he was in tears. "W-What did I just do? What have I done?" Max questioned himself. "Max don't worry, it was only an accident." Lindola said. "N-No, it wasn't an accident, it... It..." Max couldn't complete his sentence. "Max, it happens to all of us, don't feel traumatized." Carlo said as max struggled with his saying. Max ignored what his father said and he felt traumatized for long...

Chapter 1 - 'A new start, a new life.'

2005, 14 January, Monday, first day of school. Max and Jax arrived at school on their first day and they hoped to make friends during school. Max wasn't as happy as Jax. Max is still traumatized from what happened two years ago. As the bell rang for the first class, Max was assigned to sit alone in the farthest desk and Jax wasn't put near Max, instead he was put next to a boy known as David. "Hey there!" David said. "Oh hello." Jax replied. "What's your name?" "My name is Jax, yours?" "David, David Johnson. Others call me DVD." "Oh I get it, because of the two d's and the v in your name?" "Yeah just like that. Pretty stupid if you ask me." "Totally." "So you new here?" "Uh, yeah. Me and my brother." "Who's your bro?" "That one there." Jax would point at Max. "Oh that one, what's his name?" "Max." "Oh... OH! Now I get it, you two are twins." "Yeah that's right, both born at the same time, Max is just a couple of minutes older than me." "Oh, alright.". Class would start and the teacher introduced the two new students, Max and Jax. As they introduced themselves, time passed by fast and the bell rang for the next class.

As it was break time, Jax introduced David to Max. "David? Heh, I think I'll call you Dave instead." Max said to David. "That works for me." David replied. The three boys spoke to each other about their pasts and what happened in their lives, excluding the time Max killed a robber two years ago. As time progressed and they spoke about their lives, the bell rang for then to return to class. "See you guys later!" Dave waved. "You too." Max and Jax replied.
