It's been a week since the Red hair pirates arrived, I've gotten along with everyone quite well, so has luffy, tho his dumb butt decided to cut below his eye to get a point across, that's just weird, I'd never do that, unless... No no, no unless.
Shanks still acts like my dad, only allowing me near benn, yasopp and lucky roo, he doesn't let me to interact with the other crew mates because he doesn't trust they can protect his little girl' proply, I still don't understand why he acts like my dad
"what's with you today, you've been awfully quiet, still upset that papa shanks isn't letting you have a boyfriend?" looking over at roo as he laughs away, I puff out my cheecks towards him and nod
Benn's was braiding my hair "you do know he did allow you to date, but he has to approve of it" he laughed away while finishing off what he was doing
"I know that, but that's annoying, I'm better off not having a dad always on my butt telling me what to do, id rather have grandpa give me the fist of love then have shanks traveling around with me, scaring off everyone who might try to approach me" puffing my cheecks out more, and drinking my apple juice trying to prove a point to them
"you never really did explain what the fist of love was" yasopp invited himself into the conversation, now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I want to
Out of no where, luffy decides to ruin it, "fist of love when when grandpa hits us over the head with all his power, saying that's it's 'training' and we need to become strong marines even tho none of us want to"
Everything became silent, no more parting, noone was drinking anythin, all you could hear were the crickets from time to time...
"so what your saying is... OUR POOR BABY HAS BEEN HIT OVER HER HEAD? Who is your grandpa, we need to find him and kill him ourselves " shanks making the biggest riot we have ever seen..
"our gramps is the vice Admiral garp... " after saying that, Benn finished the braid and patted my head
"hahaha let's go back to parting and let's pretend that they never happened, okay!?" everyone saying yes to it and went back to drinking
I'm not sure how long everyone there was parting but I must have fallen asleep, cause the last think I remember is being picked up and carried home, waking up in a different bed, and being cuddled into benns chest was nice, he was warm
Though, looking at him, he must be hot, falling asleep in his clothes and having a blanket thrown over him, I decided to do the right thing by waking him up so he can go change in his pj
With all the strength I can muster, I hit him around the face.
"... If you werent so special to everyone, I would of thrown you over board, what is it (y/n), need anything" he said in a gruff voice, damn me bring so young
"wake up, go get changed, must suck being in your clothes going to sleep, also... Do u have anything I can borrow to change into aswel?"
He got out of bed, got a long shirt and gave it to me, showed me where his private bathroom is and told me to get changed there, so I did. After changing to went out to see benn back on the bed, in his pj.
So running over to him, climbing onto his bed (having him help you up), I went back cuddling him and going to sleep, he was nice and warm so I instantly went back to sleep.
Waking up to the sun blazing in my eyes wasn't fun, I turned and held onto the warm pillow, blocking my view of the sun, slowly falling back to sleep, untill a fiery, overprotective, step dad, barged into the room and shouting at my pillow for some reason, that is, untill I remembered the pillow was benn.
"benn! My buddy chum pal, umm.. WHY DO YOU HAVE MY CHILD IN BED WITH YOU, SHE'S 6!! Have you no shame!?" having the red porcupine shouting at him.
"shanks, one she's not your child, two she fell asleep on me so I carried her here, three she slapped me awake to get changed and four, IT'S 4 IN THE FUCKIN MORNING, I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN IS OUT LET US SLEEP!"
"also I'm not 6, I'm 7 day, get it right, if you're my dad you should of already known that"
I went back to sleep, leaving a stunned step dad to go and run to God knows where.
After a could of hours I finally got up fully, not seeing benn or shanks, which was strange, looking around the room I spotted a dress, I went over to there and there was a note, it was in neat hand writing saying to wear the dress, tights and shoes. So I got changed brushed my hair and went outside, there were some crew here and there, greeting me or ruffling my hair
Traveling to the bar that makino owned. As soon as I walked in there, there was a huge "happy birthday" from everyone, it was nice, but the first person I went to was (of course) benn, everyone partied more
Benn did my hair again, shanks was telling eveyone how proud of a dad he was, yasopp was telling luffy for like the 100th time about his son usopp, lucky roo was eatting and drinking and having a blast, it was nice
This lasted for couple of hours untill, everyone gave me a present, shanks gave me a dagger, saying I need to protect myself from strangers, roo gave me some books to read if I got bored, yasopp gave me one of his old guns, still works, but warned me not to use it untill I get old enough, luffy got me a rabbit he caught (which was strange but I'll take it), makino got me some dresses, and last but not least benn got me a hair clip, it was a butter fly, and quite petty at that.
It was fun and everything was blast.
I decided then and there that I should tell everyone, so I got on the table and said "when I get old enough, I'm gonna marry benn!!"
There were some awws and others laughed, shanks on the other hand was laughing his head off, but crying?
"are you sure you want to marry this old man, you could get someone younger and better" having benn say that I lifted out my cheecks and shook me head
"as if I can, papa bear over there won't allow it also, I like you better " blushing a bit from that statement, benn just laughed and patted my head, and agreeing to to
"alright alright, let's make a deal, when you're 18, seek us out, if you find us we'll marry, but don't get your hopes up, we will be traveling around the place" and with that he kissed the top of my head and went back to drinking.
