"Okay so this one?" Amber held out a black dress in front of her.

I didn't know what to say. I was mad at my parents right now because they had left trusting my brother Michael.

Michael is an asshole. He pretends to be a son sent from heaven, and my parents fall for it. How can they be so-

"Lana. Help. Me." She grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me.

"I'm just so mad. I should be in charge." I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Awe. Look at her little frown. Isn't it just so cute, Danny?"Amber squished my face and her eyes gleamed.

"It is kind of cute." Danny chuckled while fixing his blonde hair in front of the mirror.

"I am not cute." I huffed and looked away.

"Lana, be a dear, and help me pick out a damn dress for this stupid party!"Amber yelled frustrated.

"The black one looks nice." I sighed. "But why are you gonna wear something fancy for a house party?"

"Um hello? Cute boys." Danny turned around and held his hands together.

"Your brother is hot. I can only imagine how hot his friends are." Amber sighed and bit her lip.

"Okay. Cute boys. What am I gonna wear?"I looked at the pile of clothes Amber had left. She had gone through my closet to find "the perfect dress" but she also made the perfect mess.

"What are you looking for? Like how do you feel today?"Amber searched through the pile.

"Angry." I huffed.

"So red?" Amber smiled widely. She gasped and held up a red strapless dress with a little bit of lace on the front. It was simple. Yet somewhat sexy.

"That one looks nice." Danny smiled.

"It does, doesn't it?". Amber mentally patted herself on the back. "Go try it on." She grabbed my hand and pushed me into the bathroom.

I took off my clothes and wiggled into the dress. I looked at myself in the mirror and was happy by the way it looked on me. I had forgotten about this amazing dress. How could I forget it?

I stepped back into the room quietly. Amber and Danny looked up and whistled. I looked down and blushed.

"Wow." Danny put a hand on his chest. "You look beautiful. I almost wanna be straight again."

"You really look nice." Amber smiled widely. "We should get ready. The party starts in an hour and I like to take my time. "She skips away with the black dress in hand.

"Are you done getting ready?" I say as I sit beside Danny.

"Yes. I'm gonna take a little nap while you two hogs get ready. Wake me when the party starts!" He gets under the covers and cocoons himself.

I decided to start with my makeup. I didn't want to go too heavy. I put on a little bit of dark brown eyeliner and some nude lip gloss. Mascara too of course.

I brushed out my hair and turned the curling iron on. Amber walked into the room with the dress on.

"Hello gorgeous." She smiled.

"Thanks." I blush but when I look up, I find that she had her eyes on the mirror.

"Are you done with your makeup?" She sits next to me and grabs the curling iron.

"Yeah." I sigh as I take the straigtener and plug it in.

"Yeah. I did that on purpose." She giggled as she starts curling her hair.
