My Mute Mate

A bluenette walked down the streets holding the hand of an older blonde man the ring on his hand clearing visible a woman beside the younger bluenette "did you enjoy yourself Manami?" the older bluenette asks looking down at the little girl who looked about the age of 3 craned her neck to look up at her nodding at the older women "I hope you don't plan to take that plush with you everywhere" the blonde man says referring to the dragon plush in her small arms shaking her head "it was nice of you to win that for her Laxus" the bluenette smiles tucking a strand of hair behind her ear a matching ring visible on her left hand "she did want the toy Juvia" they walked into their small house greeting a short old man who hummed in greeting the bluenette ran towards the pet they had recently gotten happily hugging him "that certainly lifted her spirits" the parents of child said grinning she excitedly told her great-grandfather about the fair they returned from making hand gestures to explain.

Elsewhere a pinkette haired boy stared up at his father in bewilderment "but dad I don't want to go out training" the sky blue eyed boy says "you have to Hikari otherwise you won't be able to control your transformations" another pinkette says earning a whine from his son "it's not that bad Hikari I'm also being forced into this" a white haired boy says crossing his arms "come on boys your friends are also taking the same lesson" their mother stepped in reluctantly they agreed the older pinkette sending a thankful look towards the white haired women.

The two children grew up quite differently to the other one had a wonderful life without having to worry about many things while the other had so much to worry about relating to his race however Manami Dreyar was often bullied for her disability of speaking to others you see the girl was mute.

Granted the lives of these two were different however unbeknownst to either they were fated to be although they have never even met each other.

Natsu Dragneel was speeding towards his youngest son's school "I'm sure it's not that bad Gray" Lisanna Dragneel reasoned trying to get her husband to calm down "yeah right the poor boy's bleeding" the car halted to a stop in front of two boys one staring down at the teenage boy who was bleeding the other had his hands on his head "Hikari" Natsu called the one with his hands on his head looked up tears rolling down his cheek "dad! I didn't mean to hurt him I swear!" Hikari yells panicking his father silently walked over to him lifting his upper lip "I'll clear up here" Lisanna said cleaning up the unconscious boys blood while the boys went back into the car.

"hey what's going on? aren't you mad at me dad? why aren't you yelling at me or something?" Hikari Dragneel asks peering at his father "congratulations baby brother your a official vampire" the oldest sibling said earning a confused looked from his younger brother "official vampire?" the boy tilted his head "that was your first feed Hikari" the younger boy's eyes widened "don't joke around with me Akito" Lisanna finally intervened "Akito's not pulling your leg for once..." Lisanna Dragneel muttered the last two words "it won't be long until your vampire side awakens" Natsu added "so that boy was my first victim?!" Hikari asks.

Hikari looked up from his food at the unfamiliar scent filling his nose "what's wrong found someone interesting?" Simon Fernandes asks noticing the sudden change in his friends behaviour "it's nothing" he took a glance at the group of girls laughing walking past his father's words coming into his mind word coming into his mind you'll meet your mate soon enough she'll have an alluring scent to her Hikari... I guess I've found her now I just need to know which one of them it is keeping that in mind the young blood-sucker ate his food quietly.

Manami silently got up walking towards the nurse's office to get her injuries treated tears rolling down her cheek the girl had just been confronted by her bullies why do they do this to me? what have I ever done to them? what did I do to deserve this horrible treatment from them? I can't do anything about the fact I'm mute she bumped into someone falling to the ground rubbing her behind Manami Dreyar looked up at the person in front of her who offered his hand "sorry" the boy apologised she took his hand standing up on her feet there's that alluring scent again the scent hit him hard the bluenette bowed in apology and ran off towards the nurse's office so she's the owner of that alluring scent Hikari watched the girl disappearing down the hall.
