I pulled out my notepad for the 6th time today. I skimmed down the page, making sure I didn't forget anything. This had the list of all of the fun activities I had planned to do with Justin and Matt. I then heard my iPhone 4 vibrate from beside me. I set down the notepad and reached over to my phone.

Yo bud let's hang out :P swag yolo, the message said. I could tell it was my old friend Ryan. I could tell right away by the "swag yolo" part. I smiled.

Yeah sure let's hang out!! I responded right away.

Cool, he replied right away. Typical Ryan.

We set up to meet at the park. I walked there wearing my white Nikes with navy blue lettering. I made sure to wear the jeans Ryan got me for my 12th bitchday!!

"Hey Ryan!" I said more shyly than I intended.

"Yo bud," he responded as he fixed his hair. He looked more different than last year, which was the last time I saw him. He didn't have the hat on his pants anymore. That hat sometimes made me smile. But I also hated it 'cause David also put this hat on his pants. Hate him.

"You seem.. different," I say, trying to think of the right word to use. But the word different just came out without me stopping myself.

"Guess I just got cooler," he said very seriously. I bursted out laughing but quickly covered it up with a cough.

"What, man? Don't think I'm cool?" He said as he took his flip phone out of his pocket. He pressed several buttons and looked up at me. He showed me the small screen on his phone with a grin. On the screen was a blonde girl doing the duck face. Next to her picture was a selfie of Ryan. "I love her so much!! <33" was printed in pink and teal lettering across the picture.

"Is that your girlfriend?" I asked him as I peered up at him. He nodded his head as a grin appeared on his face.

"Her name is Kassidy and I love her so much!! Like she's soo cool and pretty and yeah!" He said as he looked up at the white fluffy clouds in the sky as they slowly went past the light blue sky.

"Didn't you just like Hannah Fo-"

"No!! She's like so annoying and ahhhgghghghgggghghghhh!" He cut me off. Rude. His arms flew in the air as the words fell out of his mouth. He saw the look on my face and quickly apologized. "I'm sorry.. I know she's your cousin and all bu-"

"It's cool," I cut him off. Just like he did to me..

"Like me," he winked. Oh my..

"Right," I half laughed and kept my rolling eyes from being seen. "LOL."

He flipped the phone back down and stuck it in his pocket. I saw the back of his hoodie as he turned around to see laughing children from behind him. It was something Minecraft related. It had the words Diggy Diggy printed in white against the black of his hoodie. I recognized the hoodie from last year. I never got that hoodie though. And he would never explain it to me and just gave me a look that I disliked very much.

"Everyone at Valley Blue hates you!" I cover my mouth with my hands to stop the words from coming out of my mouth, but it was too late. He heard. I don't know why I said what I just said, but I did. And I regret it. I just hope I don't tell him all the people who hate him.. But I mean, it's a pretty long list so I think I'd be able to stop myself pretty soon before I say much. His facial features change slightly but change back to how they were before.

"Yeah right, they fucking love me!" He whispered "fuck" and I did the same in my head.

"Yeah, you're right LOL, I don't know what I was thinking chica," I said as I shook my head and put a hand on his shoulder. I quickly retrieved my hand back as I realized it wasn't Justin or Matt.

"Did you just call me a chica..." now his features changed again. But they didn't change back. Hurt was clear on his face and I felt sorry.

"I didn't know you'd be so hurt about it," I said. His eyes started to get watery as he covered his face with his hands.

"I'm not, I'm not," he sighed as he lifted his face out of his hands. He kept shaking his head. I wasn't sure what to do so I just stood there. He wasn't Justin or Matt so I wasn't used to comforting anyone who weren't them.

"Listen Ryan, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry about that, I wasn't thinking." I gave him an apologetic smile.

"It's cool, it's me," he said.

"What do you mean by 'it's me'?" I asked him.

"Cool. I mean that I'm cool, AJ. Get with it." He kicked his feet up and I saw that his shoelaces were untied. But I didn't want to tie them for him because he wasn't my Justin.

"I think I'm gonna go," I say. "I need to like go bathe my fish, bye." I quickly leave the spot and start my journey for the long walk home. I can't get Justin or Matt off my mind so I knew I had to leave. I can't be talking to Ryan like this. Justin and Matt are the only men in my life.

I walked down the rocky sidewalk until I run into my swaggy shawty, Justin
