It was the magic hour, when the sun dyed everything in gold, when it finally stopped raining and the clouds partially disappeared, allowing some sun rays to reach the city. The two brothers had left their house and started to miraculously float within the air down the street. The light was sweet and the cold autumn breeze after the rain welcomed them like an old friend. The calmly sound of the soft wind caressing the autumn leafs covered their ears. Some of them fell over them while gliding through the air and they smiled. They could admit that they missed the smell of the rain, the fallen leafs and the autumn sun. It was mid October, and they could feel the autumn breeze running through their veins, caressing their lungs and laying deep inside their hearts, filling them with a sort of nostalgic, calm happiness they had no memories to have felt it before...

Emile's hair whipped into his eyes carried by the brisk autumn breeze. Winds like this never failed to amaze him; a chilly blend of cinnamon and warm spices, carried by whispers of warm winter fires yet to come.. Leaves rained down throughout the sky; warm blends of red and orange that softened the hard edges of the coming cold season into a picturesque transition. He smiled, giggling innocently and softly as he shivered, deep inside his puffy, pink sweater and shorts.
His eight year old brain being amazed by the beautiful sights around him, his body slowly twirling through the air like a ballerina, smiling happily as his chipper giggles escaped his parted lips.

Patton was on the opposite side of him, either one of them holding onto the unknown boy's hands as he slowly whisked them through the sky as if it was nothing, easily escaping the scene of the double suicide not wanting to alarm his new friends.

"I'm Roman.. but my friends call me Princey,"

The two boys smiled happily, obediently nodding without question asbthey happily soared through the air, Roman smiling as he gently pulled them closer, slowly turning and flying higher into the sky, the unimaginable sights of planets, stars.. the moon.. all flourished high above, the three happily giggling as Princey turned to glance down at them, tightening his grip.

"No matter what happens, Don't. Let. Go..!"

The air flew by in a hurry as the picked up speed, The falling leaves fluttering down, sparse in the cool mid-autumn air. In other places perhaps they are a feast of colours - enough to feed the soul as well as their eyes. Patton was sure to have read about leaves like that, he imagined them like a garish quilt over the ground. Perhaps if he saw them he would be poetical too, but those leaves around them were are all brown. The only difference between now and winter is the crunch underfoot and soon even that will be dampened by the rains..

Though the leaves slowly disintegrated as they flew closer to a bright orb that listened within the sky, the brothers yelling softly asbthey closed their eyes tightly just for a flash of light to cloud their visions, temporarily blinding them before they slwoly opened their eyes, pure fear flashing into their eyes in realisation a sthey slowly began to spiral and fall downwards.

Emile opened his eyes in shock, and he was falling.. His perception of time distorted, everything slowed down until there was nothing, only him, his brother, Roman and the sky above, the sky that seemed to swallow him whole.. His hand reached out, kissing the sky, grasping the endless crevasse of blue. Everything was a blur, a blur that swirled out of existence. Suspended in the air, he closed his eyes and surrendered himself into the infinite sky above.

His and Patton's hands were soon grabbed once more, the sudden touch causing them both to jolt as they were automatically turned into their fronts, eyes slowly dilating as they saw the horizon, a lone island in view, one large tree, or what they could assume as a tree was standing tall mid island, the rest covered with foliage and trees, the beach slowly being overlapped with soft and small waves.

A soft sigh escaped Patton's lips, it slowly fluttered on the winds like a butterfly decorated with a perfidy amount of colours. A sigh. Desire and disgust. Streamed through the air. A sigh. Disappointment and gladness. Decorated the air leaving a path. A sigh. Of relief and worry. Leaping through the air like a dear. A sigh. Of happiness and sadness. Dancing through the air. A sigh. Of excitement and fear. Strolling through the air like a roller coaster. A sigh means it all..

Though, in reality, he was just in relief that they weren't going to fall..
That they were safe, alive even, if only he knew the truth..

The thought swayed within Roman's mind as they slowly made their way towards the island, the lost- no, now Found boys were finally.. 'home'..

Here the sky and the water seem to fuse into one; blue on an already blue palette; but the colors of the island were very different.. They were much hotter like the weather, From the pale tones of rose pink that were the essence of the guava, to the mellow yellows of mango, the cherry red hues of lychee and the fresh brown of soil, these were the epitome of the land.. The flecks of green here and there were of the largely grown trees and foliage and freshly grown tea leaves. The cool blue came in the form of a small monsoon, however the aftermath of the occasional monsoon left a jittering grey myriad of shrimps flailing around in the water aimlessly. And soon, instead of dirt, orange shrimp bits and various food bits were found more frequently under the islands' occupants nails, something no like really minded.. The aroma of the inhabitants cooking was rivalled by a mixture of sweet, airy, crisp, earthy, floral, light, moist, musty, sour, spicy, tart, and wispy scents - scents born of the island.. And every dawn, the sun dyed everything gold..

It was perfect..

Everything they could ever dream of..
After all, it was their new home..  their forever world, their ForeverLand..
