Yoongi POV

As I heard the constant ringing of my alarm clock that morning, I couldn't help but sigh.

I rapidly got up, my vision still blurry, starting my usual morning routine.

I headed to my bathroom, which was small but practical, undressed, and took a warm shower. The water on my skin felt good, refreshing, my muscles started to relax. I prefer morning showers, it helps me wake up.

After my shower, I got dressed in some black clothes and made my way to the kitchen.

My cat was waiting for me, she was a small stray. I found her a few months ago, near the apartment complex, took her in, and now we are inseparable.

I gave her her food, then proceeded to make myself a bowl of plain cereal.
I sat in my living room and ate my food, alone. I was still trying to get used to this loneliness, I sighed again.

Finishing my breakfast, I cleaned my bowl, got my backpack, and headed out.

As I stepped out, I saw the landlady, a sweet middle-aged woman, and waved her 'good morning'. The landlady basically offers me shelter, while I help with manual work in the building. She picked me up from the streets when I had nowhere else to go, I am eternally grateful towards her.

Immediately, I made my way directly to the school, then to my classroom, keeping my eyes on the ground.

I always look down, I try to keep the attention off me, I prefer being left by myself. I have average grades, average height, average looks, just a boring, none interesting classmate.

I feel no need in creating and maintaining relationships with people that won't be beneficial for me. That's why I'm not an attention seeker.

Morning classes ended and I made my way to the cafeteria. I sat at my usual table, which was empty, and scrolled through my phone.

No one dared to eat next to me, people were scared. I know the multiple rumors about me, spreading across the school. Being in a mafia, a gangster, a paid killer...

I couldn't care less about those rumors, as long as people stayed away from me.

The day felt like it would never end, I wanted to rush back home. And it's exactly what I did, the second the last bell rang in the hallways.

Arriving back home, I put away my backpack and refilled my kitty's water, as I usually do.

I took my cat in my arms and gave her a soft hug before heading back out.

Listening to my music through my earphones, I made my way to the computer café down the street.

Entering the small building, I was greeted by a familiar voice.

?? "About time you got here"

It was my coworker, Namjoon. A total nerd from a private school near this area.

We became 'friends' since we shared the same shift and saw each other practically every day.

By 'friends' I mean, he would constantly talk to me. I would just nod at everything he said.

Nj "I brought you some bibimbap my mom made, I know you didn't eat lunch."

I nodded and ate the food he gave me.

He would give me leftovers from his place from time to time. I took it since I didn't really know how to make food for myself.

A few hours passed and my shift ended.
Namjoon waved my 'goodbye', as I exited. I went straight back home, while the street lights shined the path.

Swinging the door open, a gentle meow was heard. I took my kitty in my arms, with a bag of chips from a cupboard, and made my way to my studio room.

I sat her on my lap and proceeded to work on my music while eating chips and petting her delicate fur.

Music was my escape route, a way to talk with sounds. It was the only thing I truly felt passionate about.

I worked on my music until late hours, until I looked at the time and realized it was already four in the morning.

I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and made my way into my bedroom.

As I snuggled in my sheets, my cat jumped on the bed and came cuddling on my side. A soft smile formed on my face, as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next day, the cycle repeated itself and that was my life for the past five years of my life.
