"Common, you need to go home today," Tendou says whilst I bury myself into the blanket. "Can I stay here and just text my num to bring my uniform. I'll buy you the next two shonen jumps"
"Okay. You can stay but, you're also buying my food tonight as well" that's fair enough.

"Can you walk alright?" He asks again "yes I'm fine"
"Don't play in practice today or until you've fully healed" I huff whilst putting my hands in my pocket "but won't it be suspicious?" I ask kicking some rocks.
"What's suspicious?" A deep unsettling voice asks. "Nothing Ushijima, we're just talking about that person on Friday. Let's go to practice shall we" I say whilst walking quicker to the sports hall.
I'm still practising otherwise I might as well not be there. "Y/n I told you not to practice," Tendou says "I won't do anything that I know I won't be able to do so don't worry."
"Fine just don't practice sets or spikes" and with that, he walks off. I was going to practice my serves anyway. I need to get better at them.
"No jump serves either" he shouts knowing I was going to practice that one. I guess I could teach the new first year's.
"Do you guys need help?" I ask them in a bored tone. "Anything you're struggling with? Plans to take someone else's position as well?"
"We heard that you rejected a girl y/n" one of them mentions "oh so you want this type of practice. Come with me, I know I spot where we won't get caught talking"
"Okay so, the girl I have no clue who she is and she was very pushy. It's off-putting" I sigh "well not to brag or anything but she came to me after and things got a bit steamy so thanks man" oh wow
"Yeah who is she anyway?" I ask "she's Konkona Natsuko she's a first-year" that makes sense now. "It was kind of random how a first-year confessed to me you know? I've never had any interaction with her and she pops up with that"
"What's your type?" One of them asks "I like one's with big breasts and they have to be clumsy"
"Meh, I prefer them to be a bit sinister, tall but caring" they look at me like I have another head "what?"
"You're in a relationship. I know it. Who is it?" Dan it "Nah they're in Nekoma we've always been friends and we ended up together a few days ago"
Hopefully, this will be a good cover-up story. "Wow, you're going out with a city girl. What's it like?"
"It's like a normal relationship but you two can't tell anybody especially Semi-Kun" they nod "if you do tell anybody I'll have to hang you by your thumbs"
"Y/n-Kun practice is nearly over er need to get out before it's obvious we're not there." We make our way out and act like we're cleaning like the rest.
"Ah I wish I could teach you guys some more but we need to change," I say feeling Ushijimas eyes on me.
"What's up waka-waka?" I ask smiling. "Nothing let's go or we'll be late to class, "
"Y/n what the hell happened to your back?!" Someone basically shouts making people stare at it. Right, I forgot I took the bandages off as I wasn't bleeding any more.
"Oh right, there's an angry ghost in my house at the moment my mum's called an exorcist but it's going to take them ages to come" they nod "ghosts sure are scary" one of them mutters.
How did they believe that? Right. Half the people in Japan are superstitious.
"Oh yeah Wakatoshi, how's your brother doing? I heard he moved school" he just grunts "you still don't like him? You're basically the same except your hair."
"He's still too confident and prideful. He shouldn't be that cocky he just knows that he's going to win that stupid ice skating competition" oh the irony. "And we're not going to win our stupid Volleyball competition? You both are aiming for the same thing. The Olympics he's just in the right mindset for it rather than gardening. What is one day someone manages to block one of your spike's? Plus he's really clever so he has a backup plan ready I bet"
"He doesn't even have friends. It's his manager that turned him into that monster" he walks away ending the conversation. "You just struck a nerve y/n," Satori says popping up behind me
"So where we're you at practice?"
"I was just gossiping with some first year's they asked me if I were in a relationship. Now I have a girlfriend in Nekoma." He chuckles "is your girlfriend sexy, funny, clever?"
"Yes, yes and no" he just sorta deflates. "if I were your girlfriend I'd be pretty bummed out"
"Satori you're weirder than normal you okay?" Semi asks and Tendou just shrugs "y/n has got himself into a relationship again" How is he that good at hiding this?
