Chapter 1

Casey's POV

Do you ever just not wanna get out of bed because you know that something is off? Well that's how I feel right now. Today is my 17th birthday and I Casey Ray Everhart hate my birthday. It's not that I hate celebrating its just the date. April 1st aka April Fools day. See how I feel? I feel like I was born on that day because I was a mistake. Lol! But I have to get out of bed because of school.

I get out of bed with my alarm sounding for the 15th time. I hop into the shower as the warm water cascaded down my back. Washing my body with my twisted scented peppermint body wash. I hop out the shower and rap my teal towel around my body. I look in the mirror at my reflection. My waist length blonde hair and crystal blue eyes stood out the most. My petite frame really wasn't special. I was a small girl only 5'5. Even though I'm team captain for volleyball. I hated being the center of attention even though all the boys look at me like I'm some goddess. I brush my blonde hair and blow dry. I curled my hair into small waves to give it that beach effect look. I put on a small amount of makeup. I put on foundation and powder to make my face look flawless. I finished off with mascara and some winged eyeliner. I picked out my outfit which was a white blouse with little white flowers and blue jeans. Underneath I wore a white lace bra and pantie set. I paired it with white toms. I looked at my reflection and smiled.

I drove to school in my new Kia Soul. I was jamming out to some Iggy Azalea as I pulled into my "parking spot". I stepped out and was greeted by my best friend Madison.

"OH MY GOD HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASEY!" She screamed handing me my present.

"Thanks Maddie!" I smiled.

"Open it! " she said eagerly.

I tear open my present and it was two tickets front row meet and greet 5 seconds of summer tickets. I screamed and started jumping up and down.

"THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" I start screaming and giving Madison a huge hug.

"Anything for my best friend!" She squeals.

We walk into the school and I was greeted by a bunch of happy birthdays from some people I knew and some I didn't. I just smiled and said thanks.

School as you know was the same. Lots of happy birthdays and annoying teachers. I headed home driving past the green forests of Virginia. I got inside and suddenly felt an urge to be in the forest. I decided to go on a walk through the trees. I start walking and suddenly felt and agonizing pain coarse through my body. A piercing scream left my body as my bones start popping in different directions. I keep screaming for help for someone to help me but no one hears. Next thing I know I have fur all over my body and I have 4 paws.

'Hello I'm your wolf Issa,'

'Ahh! Who are you? What am I? I'm scared,'

' Your probably really confused let me explain to you, you are a werewolf-'

'Wait! How?!? They don't exist!'

'Yes they do your obviously one!'

'How come my parents aren't one?'

'Well your family skips a generation so your parents didn't get to be werewolves,'

'Oh that makes much more sense,'

'Let me explain to you a couple of things, you are a rouge. Well we are since we are the same person. A rouge is a werewolf that isn't in a pack. Is alone. Often ruthless. Kills anything that crosses their path-'

'I don't kill anything! How am I talking to you?'

'Through your mind duh! Let me continue, we don't have a pack. In a pack there is a alpha, beta, and third in command. The alpha is the leader of the pack. The beta is like the second leader if the alpha leaves he will be in charge of his duties. The T.I.C is the third most important person in the pack with also great duties. There is also a Luna and an Omega. Luna is the Alpha's mate and the female leader of the pack-'

'What's a mate?'

'A mate is like a soul mate. It's the person you are supposed to love unconditionally for the rest of your life. You have a dying feeling to be with them. But you can also reject your mate. But please don't do that it hurts. If your mate is gone for long you miss him/her and you need to be with him/her'

'Oh sounds romantic!'

'Omega is the weakest members of the pack. Often does the laundry and chores for the back. A pack house is the main house were most of the unmated Wolves live.'

'Oh okay. So right now we're rouge? Is that a bad thing?'

'Yes a very bad thing. A pack could find us. They usually keep you or kill you! We have to be very cautious!'

'Okay I have my guard up. How can I go back to human?'

'Just think of yourself in human form.'

' okay'

I close my eyes and open them. I'm in my human form. BUT IM NAKED AH!
"Ah!"
'Oh I forgot to tell you when you ever shift bring extra clothes because your clothes rip! Lol!'
'That was my favorite blouse Issa!'
'Haha too late now!'
'Ugh!'

I walk back to my house looking around to make sure no creepers were out. I can't tell anyone about this. I'm a werewolf it has to be kept a secret. Now what do I do now. I think she told me everything I needed to know.

'Also your mate could be human!'
'Is that a bad thing?'
'Eh, it depends! But it's still are mate!' Issa smiles cheerfully
'I see where your coming from!'

I walk into my house practically running since I was naked. I need to put on actual clothes. I throw on sweat pants and a tank top and hop into bed falling into a deep sleep.
