*Mj's P.O.V*

When we got to the house I was dragged into the house...literally... The man stood above me, he pulled my hai and dragged me to the basement. He threw me down the stairs and landed with thud, I screamed it pain

"Shut up would you! your being a baby! Wait till later it will be much worse!!" he yelled at me and slammed the door behind him.

I got up and tried to open the door but it was locked.

*4hours later*

I heard the door open and there stood to boy.

"I don't want to hurt you ok? I'm not like him, he adopted me too and did this to me as well" he said as he walked down the stairs.

"How can I trust you?"

"Because I'm here yo get you out, he fell asleep and he wont wake up anytime soon, just trust me we can get out together and report him to the police and then I can adopt you an we can live somewhere, anywhere you want"

"Fine I trust you, but how old are you anyway?"

"I'm 19 now lets go"

I stood up and we walked out of the house down to the police station

"Can we help you?" said the lady at the front desk.

"Yes, we would like to put an abuse report in for the both of us" the boy said. I never even got to know his name.

"Oh my, well um, go sit over there and we will have a police come talk to you and ask you some questions ok?"

"Thank you very much mam" I said

We went and sat down when they told us to go in and talk to the man.

"Ok so I'm officer Marten, so tell me why tour here"

"Well we just escaped a man who has abusing me since I was 14 an now he's abusing her. We're both adopted by him so we had to sneak out and come here as fast as we could" he said

"Ok and what are your names and I will need the mans name as well"

"I'm Jordan" he said

"I'm Mary-Jan" I said

"Ok and the man and address"

"His name is Robert Thomson, 135 Karen st. North" Jordan said

"Ok thank you you are free to go ho-"

"Where are going to go to a hotel and spend the night there" Jordan said

"Ok well have a good night" officer Marten said

We walked to a hotel and talked about where we were going to go, we decided on North Carolina. Now we have to go from Toronto to North Carolina tomorrow. Before you ask, yes Jordan did adopt me so now he's my legal dad! he seems like a nice guy so far.

**next morning**

"Mj wake up" Jordan said as he lightly shaking me

"Whyyy"

"Because we are going to North Carolina today remember?"

"Ok I'm up"

**at the airport**

This is going to be so much fun..good bye Toronto and hello North Carolina!
