Jennie's POV:

BUZZ! BUZZ! I woke up from my sleep. 8:45! WHAT!? Oh my god I'm so fucking late!!? I got up from my amazing beauty sleep and got dressed, running down the stairs.

I left my apartment and ran as fast as light to school.

"Late again Miss Kim? Detention it is!" Mrs Jung said. "I'm- Im sorry miss" I panted. "And next time, dont let your friend cover for you." Mrs Jung added.

I stared at her in confusion but decided not to argue and took my seat, far in the back next to my best friend, Lee Taeyong.

Me and Taeyong knew eachother since we were 5. I usually got bullied when I was younger but Taeyong always got my back and scared the meanies away!

I always had small feelings towards him but always denied them. But now we are in high school things, studies are getting serious.

"Troube again? What is of this time? The dog attacked you and but your arm off?" Taeyong whispered quetly in my ear so no one would hear.

I chuckled in response, "What! No I'm just late, thanks for trying to cover for me." I politely thanked him.

"Mhm well you still got detention" Taeyong quietly laughed. "But the teachers all dont like me Ty! It's not fair!" I raise my voice a little too much which made everyone look at me.

"Talking in my class Kim Jennie! Do you want to get excluded? I'd gladly love to!" I shook my head in response. "THEN BE QUIET."

"See Yongie! Everyone hates me." I slammed my face on the table sulking. Taeyong sighed. "THIS CLASS SUCKS AS HELL!!" He yelled.

Everyone in the classroom started laughing and cheering him on like made. "NO I THINK NOT! BE QUIET EVERYONE. LEE TAEYONG THAT IS A DETENTION!" Mrs Jung was almost at her limits.

"Your welcome NiNi" He said while cheekily smiling at me. At least I wont be attending Detention alone.

☆Time skip☆

"Here all of you are in detention. You wont go home until the hour is up. Now make yourself useful and go get a book to read." With that Mrs Jung left the room.

I got up from my seat next to Taeyong and walked over to the bookshelf to select a book.

I scanned the bookshelf carefully to see what book might attract me. Yess There! 'The conjuring' My all time favourite horror movie!! (I've actually saw the movie! And I'm only 12 lmao) 

But there was a slight problem. The book was really high up and my stubborn feet and arms cant reach for it. I quickly searched for the ladder and grabbed it to place it down.

I took 6 steps up until I finally got in line of the book.
I stretched my hand out to get the book which I successfully got!

But unfortunately my body was losing balance and fell backwards and I knew I was done for.

What I thought was meant to be the cold hard floor I was meant to be hitting, I felt warm long arms around my back.

"You dont want to end up in hospital, do you princess?" Taeyong said chuckling. I blushed at my new nickname.

We both stared into eachothers eyes deeply. I realised how beautiful his facial details were up close. His eyes sparkling with his wavy brown hair. No wonder why all the girls have a crush on him.

He suddenly broke the eye contact and placed me down on the floor. My hero smiled at me with his cute teeth showing. "Let's be careful alright" He bended down to my height and winked at me.

I froze still, still blushing, until he walked away.

Do I really have a crush on my best friend?
