I sat in the north guard tower in new settlement overlooking the desert that surrounded us. I kept my rifle close, and watched for military. Even though I made deals with them, I still didn't trust them. I saw a figure coming over the sand, and I got my rifle ready. The figure got closer, and I steadied my aim. I saw a flamethrower pack, and I froze. Saviors, I had a scout team check them out and found out the bastards used a modified napalm. The figure got closer, and I saw it was one of Luna's bodyguards from the meeting. He walked to the tower, and paused. He looked up, and took his gas mask to reveal a burn scar across his tan skin near his eye. "Hello" I said keeping my rifle aimed "what are you here for?". The man smiled "what's more believable? Sugar or polystyrene?" He said. "Neither, but I'll see if we have some styrofoam cups if that'll work" I said starting to walk down. I wanted to get out of the tower since I knew what that flamethrowers range was. "Try to get at least a couple hundred please." The man said as I walked down from the tower. I ran to Jim in our new city hall, and looked into his office which was freshly decorated. "I need at least five hundred styrofoam cups to my guard tower. Like now." I said. "Why?" Jim asked looking up. "Saviors need them for polystyrene." I said. "Don't they have tons of it?" Jim said standing up, and walking out. He started heading to the warehouse, and I followed closely. "They sent a scavenge team out, but don't forget who they're at war with. Jessie's boys are losing territory by the way. Bastards are getting desperate and are probably going into the Saviors territory." I said. We walked to the small warehouse. It used to be a motel, but builders knocked down the walls and closed the door ways, so there's only two ways in and two ways out. Jim unlocked the door, and we walked in. I looked around the crates full of supplies we brought, supplies we traded, supplies we found, and supplied that were left here. I looked all over, and found a crate marked 'Cups: Styrofoam'. I pulled it up and opened it, and found at least two thousand in the medium sized crate. I started taking out bags, and counting as I took them out. I took out five hundred, and before I walked out Jim stopped me. "Shouldn't we take all of them" Jim said. "No. We need them to think we're still useful, or they'll consider us dead weight in an area that could be their territory" I said walking to the gate with Jim. "Fair enough" He said. I climbed up the tower to see two other Saviors had joined the one from before. I threw them the styrofoam cups "There's your polystyrene. If you want more later come back" I said. One of the Saviors nodded and caught them. "Thank you" The Savior I first saw said as he ran off with the other two. I sat down in my tower, and called out "You're welcome!".
