Not together in the dark
But alone in your arms
I miss you, my love
But we'll see each other soon enough
Missing you
Are you missing me too?
If not, you have a reason
Even if it is the cold season
Winter, that freezes lives
Not summer, with dinner and steak knives
But you aren't here
So I let loose my tears
Sadness I've been holding in
Not to realize I was loved within
And maybe I can change with you
Or maybe not, and my life is through
Dark and cold
Here, without you
Without your happy heart
That was always the missing part
I never had a joyful soul
Not something to brighten the day when it's cold
I never deserved you
But you always came back to me, didn't you
Always with the warm smiles
Never without one for miles
But only if I ever loved you
Maybe you'd be back here again, too...
But then one day, I see your face
And everything suddenly seems in place
I smile and wave
But inside I'm about to caveCave from the joy you've given me
As I see through the eyes of the happy
a/n: This was my attempt at a mixed emotions poem... I failed... horribly... but it was fun to make, I guess!
