I Need To Protect Him

Eugeo's POV

What happened to Kirito maybe he was still asleep I don't know but if he really is awake then we need him and Alice to come back to Centoria. Alice had left. I was wondering why though it seems that she went into a pitch dark room but I heard someone crying. It was a boy wait a minute for Kirito up. The person who had been there throughout my journey to find Alice but since the "Memory Fragment" Of Alice Zuburg my childhood friend was about to disappear but Kirito did something he put her "Memory Fragment" inside of my sword but sometimes when I am sleeping I would talk to Alice in a patch of grass which has no end to it. Now wasn't the time for that. I still have to talk about The Dark Territory Invasion that is happening in a couple of months from now.

When the door opened I had seen a boy with black hair in a wheelchair and Alice who had been pushing the chair towards the table that I had been eating at the the boy was different than he was usually he would make funny jokes or talk about eating but he had seemed down or he was thinking about something I was about to say his name but Alice seemed to interrupt me.

"Kirito come on say Hi KIRITO"

"Huh"

"OH hey Eugeo how you doing"

"Hey KIrito I'm good but I was pretty sure that you wouldn't wake up but now your up what happened"

"I don't know what happened I was just standing there but then I was on the floor and everything was going black next I know that Alice was taking care of me here"

"Oh ok"

"KIRITO here is your dinner"

"Thanks Alice and thanks for taking care of me ever since I have been asleep"

"No Problem but now isn't the time to fool around Eugeo was about to talk about something"

"Oh what where you going to talk about Eugeo"

"OK look Kirito and Alice I need to talk about The Dark territory and you guy need to some back there are some people who want to meet you"

A Couple Of Hours Later

(Kirito's POV)

Eugeo had been talking about a lot of things but I had told him that we need time to talk and think about going back but it seems that Eugeo was disappointed for some reason but I didn't know why when I was going to ask but Alice interrupted me and asked Eugeo if we do go back will Kirito still be thrown in jail for his crimes, Eugeo had replied "if Kirito would be thrown in jail then I would ask the commander to let him go because he didn't do anything wrong even through we had been thrown in jail a couple of months ago Berculi had made sure that we wouldn't be there again so our crimes were dissolved but it seems that your student is still mad Alice"

I had told Eugeo that me and Alice will be talking about coming back to Centoria but it seems that Alice wanted to talk more and get a more descriptive on how things are going but I need to talk to Alice about this. So me and Alice decided to leave Eugeo alone for a while and talk back in the bedroom.

"Hey Alice I think that we should go back but I need some time for me to get back on my feet"

"Hey I don't know about that KIrito should we just stay here and join the fight later"

"I don't think that is an option Alice I know that you worried that something would happen to me but don't hey let's make a promise OK so I will protect you and you will protect me got it can you make that promise"

"Fine Kirito let's make that promise but if you get hurt at all I will be taking you back"

"That's good Alice"

we had opened the door and walked to the table and told Eugeo that we would be coming back but I would need some time for me to get back on my feet. Eugeo had agreed to this and he had left with his new dragon and it was time for me and Alice to go to bed. It was still weird that Alice would be sleeping with me but I just ignored it.

Later That Night

I had woken up to the smell of fire and clash of sword that wasn't a to far away Alice was still asleep but I needed to wake her up so I shook her up when she did she asked what was going on I told her that something is going on outside she had ran really fast and open the front door to hear Alice scream her sisters name. I really couldn't walk well I can walk but I need something to hold me up so I had grabbed the cane which had came from the remains of the Gigus Cider and walked towards the living and grabbed my sword off the wall and then Alice came in the room to see me grabbing my sword it seemed that she was mad at me but I had told her to remember our promise her mood change to a mad but protective look but she had agreed for me to go with her but I needed to stay by her side and not leave.

Alice POV

I had grabbed KIrito from the waste and jumped off Amayori and landed where everyone was but when we got there the lord there was making people fight instead of running away when we had everyone was looking at the massive crash that just happened I had put Kirito down and the fog disappeared for everyone to look at us everyone was talking but I had told everyone that they should leave but the lord kept saying that I have no right here so I did something I had taken off the cloak that was hiding my armor and everyone was surprised then before the lord could talk I had told everyone to leave while me and Kirito would deal with the dark territory.

Me and Kirito were fighting off goblins and orcs to save others but since nobody was around I had told Kirito to back off because I was going to use my "Memory Enhance Skill." The time Kirito had backed up I had said the words "Enhance Armament go my flowers" at that moment all of the goblins and orcs had been killed and had started to disappear. When I looked back I could see Kirito being glad that was over it seems that Kirito was able to stand but he was still a little weak to where he had almost hit his head on the ground but I caught him before that and it seems that he fell asleep so I had bush his hair and told him that he did a good job.

In the morning everyone was cleaning out the village that had been burnt down but it was time for us to leave so I had said goodbye to Selka and left on our journey to Centoria now that Kirito is back I still need to protect him.
