Anna puts her phone in her pocket, walking home after the recent post she posted on her Jabbr account. She was growing every second. She enters the apartment, though the feeling was..off.
She began to feel uneasy, searching around the room, she only saw her cat, Tobias. She faked a smile and walked up to him, petting him. She looked up, she jumped to see a shadow near her apartment door. It looked like a person, or an animal. She walks up to the door.
"Hello?" Anna called out, only silence. The unknown figure began to silently bang on the door, her eyes widened as she stepped back and ran to her phone, she began dialing the police. She hid, phone in hand as she heard the burst of the door being kicked down.
"911, what is your emergency?" The operator said on the speaker. "Yes, there is someone in my house." Anna replied, holding back tears as footsteps drew near. "Okay miss, I need you to stay calm. Do you have any weapons or anyone nearby?" She covered her mouth, whispering "no" to the operator.
"Miss-" She was cut off by a scream, the phone hung up the call, and it dropped to the floor.
Days later..
Everyone has been talking about my friend's disappearance, it's all over local news.
I should know, because,
I found her phone on my doorstep.
