Summer and sera where checking the theater to make sure it was secure while everyone watched over their supplies half had to be left in the car so now they only have what ever they were carrying in their backpacks or pockets.

"Just 5 cans and two water bottles left in my bag.." cadette said in a low voice rummaging through her bag.

"Same here.." leon quietly spoke.

"I cant believe we're still alive how are we still breathing.. wait." Ben cried then paused and checked his own pulse and frowned in disappointment.

"Oh my god...how can sera-...nevermind" Cadette rolled her eyes at him.

"Can what??" Ben's eyes widened.

"I said never mind."

"Mmmm!" Ben covered his mouth and groaned in annoyance and also tried to hide his blush.

Ben got up and walked over to help dan ransack the snack bar as if he was childishly upset with cadette.

She just rolled her eyes at him and continued talking with leon.

Leon smiled to try and contain his laughter.

"Y'know I feel like my whole life Ben and sera have been dating but not officially he should just ask her she clearly likes him... right?" Cadette said unsure.

"Just give em some time ben is a little.. uhh.. Huh.. I guess I dunno either but maybe when they're old and fucked up ben will finally ask her to be his girlfriend."

Cadette snorted and tried not to laugh so loudly, she blushed feeling embarrassed wondering if shes being to giggly or if the butterflies in her heart and making her do that.

She cleared her throat and the air was getting stale and awkward, she felt the pressure rising pounding at her brain to come with something to say.

"Fuck its quiet..and awkward... Wh-what am I supposed to say?!?! Uuhhh uhmm talking about the zombie people doesnt sound like a good idea favorite color? Ew no!! Think ish! Think!!"

She fiddled with her fingers before finally asking "have you ever had a girlfriend? It would be pretty easy since you were so popular.."
Cadette cringed at her words wanting to instantly take them back.

Leon paused for a bit before replying.

"No, I wasnt allowed I'd be in huge trouble if I was ever caught with a girl or even having a crush on one my parents called it unnecessary and very distracting.. not to sound so full of myself but all the love letters and gift were annoying and I had to get rid of them secretly before going home..so I dont taint my image cause my parents cared about that too" He said sounding annoyed.

"I'm sure nearly every girl in my classes would be bawling in their seat because you rejected her, and atleast in this world you dont have to be perfect. " Cadette giggled.

"Even if we're living in hell yeah I feel like I can say fuck shit cock with out my parents finding out." leon smiled brightly.

"What about you?" He asked.

Cadettes heart jumped and she felt her self melting.

"W-well no? Not exactly.. I'd try to go out with some guys but they were so... dull and weird... the type of guys that still live in their moms basement heheh I guess I only seemed to attract them, I mean I guess I'm not surprised I was always so focused on studying and training, and I'm so flat, not really anyones type." Cadette rambled on.

Leon stared at cadettes eyes "you're fine I dont see what the problem is.." he said nonchalantly.

Cadette flinched at Leon's comment, she turned her face away to hide her red painted face.

Her brain was officially fryed she could not mutter out a single word.

She took a deep breath and before she could say anything.

"Okay this place is secure we can travel by crossing through the buildings to stay out of the roads but this doesnt mean we won't run into them be very ready next time, let's rest a little while longer we have only have a few days left before the bombs smoke us." Summer said and sat down to have something to eat.

Sera came over to cadette and leon.

"Okay, finally I can kick my feet back a little.. so what were you guys talkin about??" She eyed cadette.

"N-nothing! Nothing I was just about to uh take a nap!" She said pulling out a blanket from her bag.

"A nap eh?" Sera raised her brow.

Cadette turned away wrapping the blanket around herself.

"So leon~~ what do ya wanna talk about? Booyyss??" Sera joked.

Cadette pretended to fall asleep while listening to Leon's heavenly laugh as sera told her awful jokes.
She eventually did fall asleep.

When cadette woke up every one was packing.
"Hey.. it's time to go." Leon said gently shaking her awake.

"Oh okay." She nodded and sleepily got ready.

They reached to the second floor of the building and summer directed everyone.

The group cautiously moved through the small alleyways that where lit by tall street lamps.

"Lucky we came across this pathway." Summer whispered.

After an hour or so they came across a dead end forcing them into a building summer and dan are the first to go in after a while summer motions everyone to come in.

It look like a gym it looked clean like no one was been inside before.
The main entrance was blocked by a cluster of crashed cars.

"Think this is the other back door" summer said opening a door, it was pushed open by the other side causing summer to get knocked down.

An infected woman fell out on top of summer she erratically thrashed around swiping her boney long fingers at summer.

Summer punched the woman away.

Summer beat her unconscious, suddenly a second one shot out from the door.

Cadette shot at its legs making it fall over.

It screamed quickly scurrying towards cadette.

Dan kicked it away before it could reach cadette.

He tried to shoot at it with his shot gun but missed.

It grabbed dans leg and bit him
Summer screamed striking it with her machete half of its head coming clean off.

Every one gasped looking at the bloody wound on Dan's leg.

Everyone froze in horror.

Dan began to hyperventilate shaking uncontrollably "n-no...no.." he cried staring at the hideous bite mark.

He quickly grabbed a pistol from his jacket pocket and ended himself right there infront of everyone.

Cadette flinched at the blood that spattered all over her "oh fuck" she muttered, wide eyed and deathly pale she slowly turned away walking to the door she stepped outside and pressed her back on the brick wall the misty rain fall turned into a shower, streams of the blood and Dan's brain matter ran down her face.
