Chapter 6- Believe Magic...

It really doesn't feel like I've been asleep for a good 7 hours... But yet again I'm not tired at all. Man... Magic is surely...well....magical?

8:36am.

Gold will probably yell at me for waling up so late. I should probably hurry up.

-After Getting Ready And Going Downstairs to The Dinning Room-

"Morning Rainbow. Wait. Where is Gold?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. I didn't see her. She might be still asleep. After all, all these recent events have taken a toll on her." Rainbow said sighing.

"Yeah...it has..." I said quietly.

"I wonder how Funneh is doing..." I heard Rainbow mumble to herself.

"Hey. Rainbow?" I said.

"Yes?" She said while snapping out of her thoughts.

"I actually have something to tell you guys...so...could you get the rest?" I said fidgeting my fingers.

"O-okay?" Rainbow said unsure.

I mean, I wouldn't blame her. I don't fidget a lot. I mainly say things positively or very confidently. But just then, I sounded unsure. Because... I was unsure. I'm not sure how much more of a toll it will be on them to suddenly hear that Funneh is technically alive-ish. But even still. She isn't even sure herself if she is just temporarily alive or something. I'm sure everyone would be really happy to hear she us alive but...there is always that possibility that it is only temporary before she is actually...well... you know...gone.

"DRACO!" I heard Rainbow said loudly.

"H-huh!? What?" I said while snapping out of my thoughts.

"Geez. You said you were going to tell us something. And here you are, stuck in your own bubble." Kat said jokingly.

"Haha very funny." I said.

"Anyways. What did you need to tell us?" Gold said. She seemed really dull and pale. Which made me a little worried.

"Did you get any sleep last night Gold?" I asked looking directly into her eyes.

"No..not really..." Gold mumbled.

"Why? Whats keeping you awake?" I asked even though I kinda had a hunch why.

"It's more like I'm keeping myself from sleeping." Gold mumbled.

"It's all these repeating nightmares of that one scene....As if it's haunting me..." Gold said in a low, quiet voice.

I think I know exactly what she is talking about. It's probably that time when she slapped Funneh, causing her to run away....or... the scene when Funneh just disappeared.

"I think what I'm about to say to you guys may or may not ease you guys up." I said.

"Well...what is it?" Lunar said.

I was generally surprised she was even here. She tends to just stay in her room...or something.. she has been like that since forever...but also it's been happening more and more since the beginning of the whole witch attacking us thing.

"What if...I told you... I talked to Funneh." I said slowly. The expressions each of them had was just the same. They obviously didn't believe me.

"Draco... look...we all miss her...and sometimes...dreams are just so real so I underst-" Rainbow started before being cut off.

"Wait! You did?! How?!?" Kat said.

"I think you might know." I said looking at Kat.

Kat thought for a moment before looking at me.

"S-she used magic obviously..but...the question is... how?! On theory, the force of taking out a relic is too much for a person to handle, let alone someone who just started using magic! That is...unless...." Kat mumbled off.

"Unless what?!" Lunar said curiously.

"Unless some other powerful source interfered with it..." Kat said glancing at us.

"But what kind of other powerful force? It couldn't have been someone who just decided yo help out of no where.. because otherwise, they would've tried to stop Amber long ago..." Lunar said place her hand on her chin.

"What could it be?..." Kat mumbled.

There was silence between us while we tried to think of somewhat of a logical reason. Lunar suddenly perked up and gasped.

"Lunar? You alright?" Rainbow said.

"What about the curse?" Lunar stated.

"The curse? You mean the curse Draco was talking to Kat about?" Gold chimed in.

"You could say that. Funneh did get a direct attack with the curse. The curse that was placed on Funneh wasn't a simple one. It had a eerie aura that sender chills down my spine. But the thing was that she didn't take effect of it that second she was hit with it... so the curse was obviously a delayed curse. Which means the curse will only take effect after a while or after a somewhat impact!" Lunar said.

"How could I not have thought of that! That's a huge possibility...wait....something isn't right..." Kat said.

"What isn't right Kat?" Rainbow asked with worry.

"It's just..." Kat started.

"Just..."

"Well...."

"How did you know about that... I guess the eerie aura is explanatory...but the type of dark magic Amber was using has the same aura as a curse... So how would you exactly know?"
