Tamera has George to meet her. They do measurements and she goes on her laptop to check on seating and the tables. Seems 30 will work and still not overcrowd the room. Everything gets ordered.
"Crap it's 12:25!" Tamera said.
She hurries to the restaurant and is 5 minutes late.
"Tamera, fashionably late I see." Richard grinned.
"Mr. Smith my apologies. I am being so unprofessional to make you wait. I assure you, I'm almost always on time or early." Tamera apologized.
"I'm just teasing. And please call me Rich." Richard smiled.
"Thank you for your understanding. I was caught up in measurements and ordering the equipment for your viewing room." Tamera explained.
"Ahh, so see, it's my fault. You're totally forgiven." Richard said, jokingly.
"You are too kind." Tamera went with it.
"We actually decided to make it into a permanent movie room. No pressure, but in case you'd like to rent it again and when it's not rented our guests can enjoy it." Tamera explained to him.
"Wow, I'm impressed. I'll definitely take you up on that offer." Richard smiled.
"I can't believe you went through so much trouble for me." Richard said.
"No trouble. It makes good business sense. We rarely rent that room. It's big enough for what you need, but not large enough for most of the parties we book." She explained.
"Well enough business talk. Tell me about yourself." Richard replied.
The waiter arrives, takes their orders, and leaves.
"There's not much to tell. Mom of 2 18 year olds who are at college now. My parents are alive and live in Virginia. I was married for 19 years and recently divorced. No siblings and I was a filing clerk for 14 years. I've known Sheila for 19 years and finally gave in to her offer of moving here to help with the resort. And that is my whole life. Just a normal life." Tamera explained.
"I would never have guessed you being the mom of 2 18 year olds! Twins?" Richard asked.
"Yes, twins, Brady and Paige. How old did you think I was?" She asked.
"Maybe 30 at most?" He questioned.
"You're good for the ego. I'm 37." She laughed.
"I'm 39, single, never married, no kids. I was engaged once. She cheated, I caught her, the same story happened a million times." He said.
"Parents deceased, no siblings, and directing is my life." He added.
"You're very good at it." Tamera said.
"Thank you, so what do you love to do?" He asked.
"I love movies and reading. Yes, boring, I know." She laughed.
"Not at all, without people like you. I wouldn't have a job." He smiled.
"I have to say this. Please don't think of me as one of those people. But I love "Changed!" I've seen every single episode, multiple times. I have them all purchased on Vudu and Netflix." She blushed.
"Wow, you're gonna make me blush, thank you!" Richard smiled.
"Okay I'll stop now." She smiled back.
"So you're the one? We got a report that some crazed fan had viewed our episodes a million times." He said.
"Okay now you're making fun of me." She blushed.
"Not at all, I'm flattered and pleased." He laughed.
