"It's okay, Miss Jayshie." Dee hugged me from my side. The warmth of his body made me feel that everything would be fine.

Dee looked towards Abby. "Abby, call the police," Dee commanded with no emotion while caressing my hair. Though I hate him, I can't deny the fact that I feel safe in his arms.

I faced away, looking at Abby as she disappeared from my sight. When I turned back around, I physically recoiled from what I saw. They dropped the body down to inspect it. What the fuck? That's tampering with a fucking crime scene! My blood boiled, overcoming my sorrow. How are people this insensitive?

I glanced at the body. Signs of decay were noticeable, but the blood isn't even a day old. I can't look at his eyes straight; it sends shivers down my spine that slowly creep down. A nightmare was in front of me. I cannot get the image of the commotion yesterday—Esmeralda stabbing herself. Now this?

Not even some time later, a pack of civil forces entered the scene. Tapos kung kay Adrielle parang wala lang? I don't mean to disrespect the body in front of me, but just what the fuck? Policemen, as well as a private investigation team, came. Students vanished as Deputy Hanzo, Dean Atlas' representative, shooed them away.

"Detective Alucard!" Chadler waved his hand. "Can we stay?" He plastered his puppy eyes.

Papaalis na kami dahil pinapaalis na rin kami ni Deputy Hanzo kaso mapilit si Chadler. Siya daw si Detective Conan at malaki daw ang maiiambag niya sa imbestigasyon. He's into detective stuffs if one couldn't already tell.

"As long as you're willing to help," Detective Alucard agreed, and Chadler giggled. He made a face, and that was childish. It seems like they know each other. Wala nang nagawa si Deputy Hanzo nang si Detective Alucard na rin ang nagsabi.

Detective Alucard averted his gaze to us, and he whistled. "Is she your girl? That's new!" Mistulang ako ang napaso sa kamay ni Salazar, kaya tinulak ko siya at nag-iwas ng tingin.

As I and Chadler began to enter the scene, Detective Alucard stopped me in my tracks. "I said Chadler, not you!" he exclaimed. That's not fair! You would allow this child to tamper with the scene, but not me? Bullshit! "Chadler! Tell him, please." I pleaded hopingly, but he couldn't seem to talk up to detective Alucard. I understand, but this is not fair!

"The victim's name is Bert Sun, a senior high school teacher," Deputy Hanzo stated as Detective Alucard looked intently at the cold corpse. "He committed suicide. That's case-closed," Deputy Hanzo said undeniably as he began to dismiss the team. "We'll look into the details later and determine what caused him to commit suicide," Deputy Hanzo continued.

"No, it can't be just suicide! Napakaweird ng nangyayari dito sa school for it to be considered suicide!" Chadler exclaimed. I didn't know he couldn't be an airhead! May sakit ba siya?

"You've got evidence, young man?" one of the police responders asked. I could tell Chadler was getting tense. He could not decide where to put his glance hanggang nakita niya ako.

"J-Jayshie! A... Alam niya! Siya ang magsasabi sa inyo!" he said decisively whilst pointing at me. He then plastered on an annoying smile and scratched his head sideways. This fucking guy, pero naaapreciate ko pagtawag mo sakin 'jan.
