Loststar woke up and got out of his den to walk out on his clan,thunderclan, to see everyone panicked.

"What's going on" he yowled to the whole clan.

Sunclaw, the deputy, ran to loststar."we can't find silverstrike" he said with uncertainty in his eyes.

Loststar saw the look in his eye. "Tell me everything because I can tell your not telling the truth."

Sunclaw looked straight into his eyes." I think silverstrike when out of camp last night.I heard here yowl, but I thought she may have wanted to be alone because she ran when I called her."

Loststar nodded. He went to go organize a search party for silverstrike and told them to not come back till she is found.The patrols left and loststar went back to sunclaw who was still in the same spot.

"We need to find her because we have no other medicine cat!"sunclaw looked away "I understand loststar. We'll find her." They both padded away to there den.

Loststar woke up to screeching out in the camp.He shot up and ran out side to see a pale body lying on the ground and the search patrols back.

He ran to the body everyone was huddled around. When he got close he knew it was silverstrike."No!" He yowled. How could this happen,he thought. Then mouseear walked out of elder's den to tell loststar that he knew wat happen."She died of blood losage by the looks of it. And I know it sounds inpossables, but.....she died by losing blood by having kittens!"mouseear told the clan.

The clan yowled with disbalif. Mouseear yowled"Quiet! I have more!" The clan fell silent." By the looks of it the kit was born before she died!" Loststar gasped. He looked at the search patrols "did you find the kit!?"

"No....."the whole patrol whispered
