Dear Diary,
So… what am I supposed to write now? Truth be told, you’re probably one of the hundredth diaries I had once written in it (only my name) before eventually I’ve decided that I was so lazy to continue writing…Well, at least I didn’t throw them all. Could have been due to my laziness or that I’m just emotionally attached to the stacks of blank diaries hidden behind my drawers. Hrmm… the former does seem to best describe me so the former it is. Let’s just hope that you won’t be meeting your ‘other friends’ in the drawers in the future later since I am so determined to keep writing in you.
Oh, I’ve probably sounds like an insane or mental kind of person to you already so why not add a little dose of my craziness in this diary? Before that, I think that I should constantly remind myself so not to put ‘writing to my diary instead of writing in my diary’ as one of my hobbies in the near advance. I mean, H-E-L-L-O… who the hell in their right state of mind would proudly admit to people that their past time is to actually write in their diary like it is some sort of an interactive device? Oh, a lonely and pathetic person likes me. BUT- that’s not entirely true. Surprisingly enough, I do indeed have a circle of friends who I can rely on to whenever I’m in my darkest hours, so that says it all right? I don’t need any fake friends for sure. What is it the saying? Quality not quantity.
By the way, I should call you Asiya as in the name of the great women who had stood fearlessly for her beliefs despite of the threats from his evil pharaoh husband. Asiya also means as ‘sorrow lifter’ in Arabic so hopefully you could lift away all of my sorrows in life. Don’t care if people say that I’m crazy for naming my diary. Huh.
P.S, I’m hungry and tired.
