Miraculous Ladybug Fanfictin (Marinette x ?????)

2: Damson plum clafoutis.......

Luka laughs at Marinette's dumbfounded response. 

"Do you want a ride back to your bakery? Me and my dad were meaning to head over there at some point anyway. Have I ever told you that your dad makes killer Plum Clafoutis?" Mari laughs. 

"Those are actually my mom's recipe. Oh, and they aren't technically a Clafoutis unless they contain cherries." Luka chuckles. "Right. So you want to ride back with us?" "That would be amazing. Thank you so much Luka!" Marinette smiled. 

As Luka opened the rear door for her to enter, he couldn't help but blush thinking about her smile. "Hey Marinette! Catching a ride back to your bakery, are you?" Luka's dad asked. "I-if you wouldn't mind." Marinette responded, suddenly feeling awkward. Luka climbed in after her, giving her a comforting smile. 

She liked seeing Luka smile; when she had first met him, he seemed very reserved. "Yeah, as long as we get some kind of discount for it!" Luka's dad huffed, followed by a big belly laugh. "O HO HO HO HO HO, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" 

Marinette glanced out the window. Schools canceled today, she thinks. How did I not notice? Her mind flashed back to last night. 

Chat hadn't been there to help. Maybe he didn't realize he was in a nightmare. She huffs quietly. Whatever. It's not hard to defeat a villain who can only attack in dreams. Still, even though it wasn't Chat's fault, and she didn't have a hard time capturing the akuma, she couldn't help from feeling slightly... slightly something. She couldn't figure it out. 

I'm being unfair. The only reason I knew is because of a fatal error in Nightmare Man's plan. I ONLY DREAM OF ADRIEN. Marinette giggles. 

"You okay there, Marinette? You look a little... Kooky right now?" Surprised, she jerks her head from the window. "Oh. Yeah. Sorry! Just thinking about that nightmare last night." Luka gives her a weird look. "And laughing about it?" He says with a sad smile. "Uh, yeah- I mean NO, because I was all scared and stuff, but, like, isn't it CRAZY that school was canceled and I didn't even KNOW? Like, how silly-" Marinette pauses when she notices Luka's face. 

"Oh, sorry. Right. Nightmares. Scary." She looks down at her pants, embarrassed. Gently, Luka touches Marinette's hand with his own. 

"No, it's not that. My dream was just..." he pauses. "about you."
