Twisted Fate

Ivan's POV
Never have I ever imagine that our love will go in the way that we don't expect it.

I can still reminisce the day kung papaano nagsimula ang lahat.

Natatanaw kitang nakaupo mag-isa sa isang sulok ng ating paaralan. Nagsusulat sa iyong blankong kwaderno. Nagdadalawang isip pa ako kung dapat ba kitang lapitan. I took a deep breath and approached you.

"Hello?" I uttered and smile.

You just took a  glimpse at me and never said any word as a response. In short,you just snubbed me.

So tunay nga ang naririnig kong balita na isa ka sa mga taong mahirap i-approach and this is kind of a challenge for me.

One time papalabas na ko ng sports complex kasi tapos na ang training namin sa basketball and I noticed na may crowd of people na parang pinagkakaguluhan at pinagtatawan ito. Lumapit ako and yes, I saw you there. Nakaupo sa sahig at nakatingin sa babaeng nasa harapan mo.

"Ops, bakit ba kasi hindi ka tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo" sabi nung babae sa iyong harapan.

"Next time, be careful. okay?" dugtong nito at ibinuhos sayo ang tubig sa tumbler na hawak niya.

Kaagad akong tumakbo papalapit. Hero to the rescue ang kuya niyo.

"Hi, Ivan." bati sa akin nung babae na nagbuhos sayo ng tubig

"You think this is funny?" I said madly doon sa babae

"No." she answered with guilt.

"Say sorry to her." utos ko sa babae

"What" gulat niyang tanong

"Bingi ka ba? I said apologize to her. Is that hard?"

"Sorry." sambit ng babaeng nagbuhos sayo ng tubig.

Tinulungan kitang tumayo mula sa iyong pagkakatumba at sinamahan maglakad hanggang sa makalabas ng complex

"Thank You" you said.

Nagulat ako because you finally talked to me.

"Okay, no problem" I said.

"Liza, right?" pagtatanong ko sa kanya

"Yeah. How about you?"

" I'm Ivan" I offered my hand para sa shake hands. Breezy.

From that day mas madali na sa akin na i-approach ka. I continued to chase you from canteen to library, from school to your way sa sakayan ng bus.

Kung hindi lang ito bet, hindi ko na ito gagawin.

You heard it right, this one is a bet.

Sa lahat ba naman ng maiisip ni Rachel ito pa. Rachel, is the girl I am courting pero currently ay nasa US siya ngayon to prepare for her college admission. Paano niya nakilala si Liza?

Rachel and Liza are step sisters.

Liza is still not aware na ako yung nanliligaw sa kapatid niya because me and Rachel kept everything in private and we're just going to be transparent with the people around us kapag sinagot na ako ni Rachel.

The bet is that within three months or earlier I have to make her step sister fall in love with me then I will get a yes from her.
Rachel knows that I have her and everything will go smoothly. She expected na magiging one sided lang ang lahat na kung saan si Liza lang yung mapa-fall at masasaktan pero habang tumatagal in a span of three months.
