Chapter 1
"Get the f*ck down!"
"Leave me alone" I screamed it into the wind
My long hair whips around me like waves from the ocean, suffocating me.
I take a step forward, feeling my balance getting fuzzy, stupid drinks
"I can see the whole city from up here Adam!"
"Get down!"
"I said leave me alone, you stupid head" my words becoming slurred
"Callie! Don't do it"
"Why! Tell me one reason, i cant deal with it anymore!" I put one foot out in the air making Adam gasp
"Callie, let's talk later" I hear Adam's voice right behind me now
"Now or Never!" I inch closer to the ledge
"Callie just wait come down, you drunk you don't know wh-, CALLIE!!"
I heard him scream my name as I jumped over the ledge
Of course it was stupid of me, but I never got a chance to regret it.
Adam's hand grabbed the back of my shirt, gravitys sucks
Here I was dangling 6 stories above a busy street, and all that was holding me was a t-shirt made of thin fabric.
My own t-shirt was choking me, sure I only weighed 110, but it still hurt like hell
I could felt my face get red, trying desperately to breathe, and my hands clawing at my neck.
Grey dots danced in my vision, I could feel Adam's hand reach around my waist and yank me over the rooftop, falling hard on his back
"Now or never" I hadn't realized I repeated it
"Oh, Callie, I'm so sorry" Adam pressed his head into my neck
I was going to ask him what he was sorry for but my vision blurred and I felt myself falling away.
