Ember Collins has come from an abusive home,and is currently in possibly the worst adoption center possible.
*Ember's POV*
I had just gotten dressed for the day,i heard there where going to be visitors looking for a young girl to adopt. I didn't bother getting my hopes up,as you know people usually go straight for the younger kids anyways. So i did as i usually would and grabbed my phone and played my queen playlist,'Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy' started playing and i hummed along,sometimes even singing along. "oooh love,oooh Lover Boyyy" i quietly sang. I met up with my best friend Angel in the lounge area. "hey Emmy!"she yells loud enough for me to hear through my earphones. I remove one earphone and reply "Oh! hey Angel! whats up?" she suddenly gets a look of pure joy on her face " OH emmy! HAVE YOU HEARD??!" i was confused and i'm guessing she could somehow sense my confusion as she then explained not so calmly " OHMAHGAWD EMMY! I'VE HEARD QUEEN IS LOOKING FOR A GIRL OUR AGE!!!"
I was excited but tried too not get my hopes up. "I bet they're just gonna go for the prettier girls here" i said. now don't get me wrong,i'm not saying we look like goblins but we just look pretty basic! I have a slight dark tone to my skin,blue eyes (that i could only wish looked even slightly like rogers) instead my eyes are a light blue with a slight hint of green.My hair is a dirty blonde. But Angel in the other hand,has light fair skin,beautiful hazel eyes,and shiny black hair! " NONSENSE! i'm sure that they'll LOVE you! After all you do look like the product of Freddie and Roger!" I was nothing but shook that she made me sound so BEAUTIFUL so i just gave her a face that SCREAMS "Thanks but stop lying"

Me and Angel talked about Queen until there was 4 men walking into the room. " NO WAY! ROGER IS %100 BETTER THEN HIM!" I halve yelled. Then I saw that all eyes where on me...including the 4 members of queen. "frick" i mumbled under my breath. "sorry.." I said loud enough for everybody to hear,while I felt my face heating up quickly." i think they're coming over here!"Angel quietly squeaked. I turned around to see the 4 men walking over to us. " OH CRAP I'VE DONE IT NOW!" i thought. I tensed up as the blonde man stood in front of us,the Freddie,Brian,and John on his right side. "Hello there..umm" his sentence trailed off as if implying he wanted my name " Ember" i said almost as if i were finishing his sentence. I flashed him a quick smile hoping he didn't notice the complete and utter fear in my eyes. "Ah yes,ember!What a beautiful name! And you young lady?" he said slightly turning to Angel. She struggled to speak,and I don't blame her! There were 4 LEGENDS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! " i-i-i'm angle! ah no i-i mean angel" she choked out. I let out a small giggle,i couldn't help it! She was stuttering like crazy, and i mean ANGLE REALLY?? She shot me a look, a look that nobody wants a girl to give them. IF LOOKS COULD KILL! " Yes,angel" Roger stated as if taking mental notes of our names. " So..?" Freddie said to us dragging out the 'o',me and angel looked at him we had all of our attention on Roger and we had almost forgot about the others. "you guys fans of us? I mean i wouldn't blame you we're legends after all!" Freddie asked,with a small smile.

" FREDDIE! Where's the modesty gone?" Brian almost yelled,we could all tell he was shocked
"There is none darling!" Freddie replied smirking at Brian who was slightly annoyed.They stared each other,as if communicating through their thoughts.I decided to reply,as the vibes where slightly rotting,the last thing i need right now. "well uhm yes actually big fans" they all turned to me as if Freddie and Brian were not being VERY intimidating just 2 seconds ago,then smiled at us. "I like you two girls come with us!" Angel and i had the most dumbfounded looks on our faces yet we still followed the 4 men into Mrs.Browns office. We got a few nasty looks from the 'Mean girls' of the house. Once we reached the office Angel and I sat in the smaller 2 chairs in the corner while Freddie and Roger sat in the two chairs in front of Mrs.Browns desk,while Brian and John stood behind Freddie and Roger holding the back of their chairs. While the 4 men and Mrs.Browns talked,angel and I saw Mrs.Browns pull a few papers from her desk,and Freddie signed them. He suddenly looked as if he had a great idea. Freddie pulled out his phone (remember this is 2019 people lets pretend they were still young then lol) and called somebody "Hello love! ah yes i know dear,i need you to come down to the adoption center!"
He quickly hung up and turned to me and angel and said " so darlings you can go pack whatever you guys have here,and get ready to leave!" Angel and I smiled like mad while we skipped out to our rooms and packed what little clothes we had,then we carried most of our queen albums in our arms.Then we quickly walked back to Mrs.browns office,too see Jim Hutton in the room with Freddie on his lap. Freddie looked happy as ever when he heard us enter the room. "hello darlings! Ready to go?!" We nodded,"wait love, i haven't even met the children yet!" Jim called while following Freddie out the door into a car(i'm guessing it was roger's as he seemed a bit too loving to the car,also he was driving)
"wow look how happy Jim makes Freddie" I said,maybe a bit too loud because Freddie replied "Yes darling,he makes me VERY happy" then he gave me a small smile and giggle,then holding up his hand,which was intertwined with Jim's. I let out a audible "aww" I VERY MUCH meant for that to stay in my head. There was a feeling of warmth...UNTIL 'Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy' started playing on the radio. " OOOOOHHHH LOVE OOOHHH LOVER BOYYYY WHAT'RE YOU DOIN TONIGHTTT HEY BOYYYY" Freddie sang loudly. " COME ON DARLING SING WITH ME!" "ok,ok" i replied "oooh love-" i quietly sang " LOUDER DARLING DON'T BE SHY!" i took that as a challenge. I was kind of nervous as i don't sing but i decided to give it a try anyways,everybody quieted themselves a bit as a slower part of the song came on the boys sang the backup vocals "When I'm not with you I think of you always(I miss those long hot summer nights) I miss you" Angel loudly yelled " WOOOO THATS MY BEST FRIEND" I felt my face heat up, I JUST SANG IN FRONT OF FREDDIE MERCURY! "wow! You're pretty good my dear" I must be DREAMING he DID NOT just tell ME that i sounded GOOD! After that the 4 men questioned us on what instruments we played. I played the bass,drums,guitar,piano,and the trumpet, angel played the same as me. We had a lot of time at the adoption center,so we decided to learn some new things.
" You guys play bass? really?!" John asked excitedly." uh yes,started playing about 2 years ago,same with everything else" The members of queen(and jim) gave each other some cheeky looks then Freddie whispered something to Jim and he took a swift turn to the left. " We're hereee" Freddie said in a sing song voice "where?? we are where?" angel and I said in unison "at the studio of course darling!" Freddie replied as if we'd been there before.
