One week past in a blur and we are on our way to Kaduna we choose to travel by road because it's so fun especially when you are with your family and friends, we talked ,joked and laughed at Khalid who was snoring,he always sleeps no matter how short the journey is,until we were in Aunty kausar's house.
Here we are in unguwan rimi, we honk at the black gate which was hurriedly opened by the gateman, we stopped and entered with our luggage. when our driver turn to leave, mallam sani yanxu xaka tafi( are you leaving now) eh walahi zan kai sako( yes i want to deliver a message) that's when their house maid ushered in our presence.
That's when i saw a big figure run towards me, Yasmin(Yas)hugged me in a bone crushing hug, I can't breathe i said sorry she quickly said I just missed you so much milarh(that's what the Turaki's call me) i missed you too I said were are my babies she replied with they are with adda hannah,jabaman (you are welcome) aunty kausar's said coming from the stairs.
Anyali jam(good afternoon) we all said when she finally was in the living room, jam (fine) she replied how was your journey hope it wasn't stressful i had from your Abba that you insisted on a road trip why didn't you go through rail you know now a days the roads are bad she added , yes aunty we wanted to go through road because it will be fun ,okay toh shikenan, my babies look at you, you've all grown up now, xeemah how are you and how are you coping with this naughty Quads,aunty we are not naughty anymore we are grown ups now said kamil.
She laughed saying are you sure, i bet you all are hungry, yes aunty like you read my mind I'm so famished i feel like i haven't eaten since yesterday morning said the glutton, wallah food will be the death of you said adda and it's not as if he add weights Yas added we all laughed, please allow me kamil said pouting.
Will you refresh first or eat i know kamil you will eat first she said that while walking to the kitchen, I think i should refresh first Yas, yalla let's go to your room, where is hannah adda asked and where are the boys kamil added, adda is upstairs with the twins and Khalifa went out to God knows where and ya Hafiz went to his friends house Yas replied I don't know when i started blushing so look i have a huge crush on him he is just so everything you could ask for ,oh that's why the house is dead Khalid said, wow so hannah is in this house and she didn't come down to welcome me adda xeemah said upset,maybe she didn't know.
That's when we heard adda hannah's voice shouting Xeemahhhh she came down carrying farhana and was holding farhan (the twins) ,I quickly collected farhana from her because i couldn't resist even though i said i won't carrying any one of them until i refresh. Don't xeemah me i came to this house how many hours ago and you are just coming down to say Hi said the upset adda sorry wallah i was dressing up this toddlers that why I'm sorry, okay what should i do to make it up to you, we left them chit chatting while we went upstairs to change the boys where nowhere to be found so probably in their rooms and kamil is definitely in the kitchen.
As we went to Yas room we started gisting about everything, anything and nothing that's when their maid Mairo called us to eat.
We went downstairs and God! It was my favourite food, waina and Miyan taushe, mama i love you so much, you just made my day, mama laughed saying Milarh ke nan, we all ate in silence. When we were done we cleared the dinning room and off we go to the living room we were searching for a channel to watch then my eyes landed on ultimate cake off even though i don't k ow what channel it is, that show is mad how can you bake a cake that's looks like a house that's how we kept on watching until it was time for Asr.
We dressed up to go out i know, i just got here but that's the fun, in this house you are free to go anywhere without your elder brother saying No even though your mom agrees.
