“We are hereeeee~.” Mummy's enthusiastic voice woke me up from my daydream.
Damn. School.
I sighed. It's not that I don't want to be dropped to school by Mummy but I prefer walking there. You know, fresh air in the morning.“Mummy, you don't have to...”
I haven't finished my sentence yet and she cut off my words. “But sweetheart, it's your first day.”
“First day of the year, mummy, not the first day of high...”
She insisted.“Still. It's. A. First. Day.”
“okay okay mummy.”, I gave up and chuckled.
“Listen, sweetheart. Mummy loves you so much. Remember, study smart, and don't sleep during classes. I've got some reports from your teachers saying that you fall asleep during their classes.”
Damn. Who told her that?
I tried my best to control myself from acting suspiciously. “Haha, it won't happen again, mummy. Promise.” We made a pinky promise.
“Okay sweetheart have fun.” Then she kissed me on my forehead.
I stepped out of the car and sighed. Just another day of school life. Nothing more and nothing less.
Suddenly,“BEBSSSSS!” Oh, I know that voice. I turned around and yes, as I expected.
Far"Bye, Babah. See you later at home. Assalamualaikum, bah." I footed out of the car and began to look for her.
My eyes caught up to this one figure. Black hoodie. With the hood up. Yup, it's her.
"BEBSSSSS!" I screamed from the very top of my lung.
She turned around with that cold gaze that she always had.
"Oh hi Far. Long time no see."
"OF COURSE WE HADN'T MET FOR A LONG TIME. YOU ALWAYS REFUSE TO MEET UP!" I said in my almost-shouting tone.
"Oh, I'm sorry, princess. I'm too busy on holiday mhmshmh urgh." she yawned and started to mumbling some gibberish.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Watching anime and playing games twenty-four-seven? That's what you call busy? Huh?" I've known her for almost 2 years.
She didn't respond, just giggled.
"I forgive you but next time you HAVE to meet up with me on holiday," I demanded.
"Whoa whoa haha okay princess okay."
And we walked to our first class of the year. Guess what? It's History time. What a great beginning of the year. As we walked there, I shared my holiday stories with Grace and we both cracked up in the middle of the road. Like seriously, I miss her so much. Those 104 days were soo boring without my bitches around.
As soon as we stepped into History class, I saw Mizan playing with his phone, typical Mizan. At the corner, Arwen with her earphones stuffed in her ears, vibing with her songs. Jane was doing a revision for the class. Like she is the good girl in our group. Yes, I saw Jackson. Twerking in front of our class monitor to piss him off with Grace hyping him up shouting 'SHAKE SOME ASS!'.
"Good morning class." Urgh. Class began.
