890 days. That's how long I have been trapped in this hellhole. I was blindly accused of being a drugdealer and now here I am. Stuck in a dirty, small cell. My ex boyfriend had me fooled, had me caught right underneath his arm. I followed him around like a little lost puppy, perhaps because I loved him. How does he repay me? By planting his drugs on me and calling the cops.
I broke out of my thought as the buzzing of my cell widened me eyes, I never really had the same privledges as the others. Today, I was able to eat outside of my cell, with everyone else, because today, I was getting a cellmate. I had not a clue of who he was or what he was capable of doing, but I didn't care. I sat at the bench, focusing my gaze on a single spot, drumming my fingers on the edge of the table. I observed all the inmates, automatically recognizing that is too much like High School. There was the jerks, or the ones who thought they were too good for everyone else because of the crimes they committed. Then there was the individuals who were here for nearly no reason at all, who only were here for a reason such as stealing a pack of gum from a drug store. The junkies, who also sat with the dealers in hopes that they could find some release. I would be placed in that category, however I am not much of a convict at all. The final group, the ones who are not allowed out of their cells because they are absolute lunatics. The freaks. The ones whom kill. The ones who became a pedophile. Prison is just another petty place. Another place, much like High School behind bars.
A small chuckle slipped past my lips due to my thoughts, but it wasn't long until everyone froze. A male, looking to be about 6'2 walked through the entry. He had the most beautiful emerald green eyes, the kind that you would never get tired of looking into. He had an intense mop of curls, and all I wanted to do was run my fingers through them. He was exquisite, and probably the only individual who could pull off orange jumpsuits. Everyone was awed by the male's beauty, it wasn't normal for somebody who looked as magnificient as him to become a convict. He was lead into my cell, and I couldn't help but form a big, cheeky smile. I was going to learn all about this glorious being, and it was only going to be in a matter of time.
