Third POV:

"The destined future queen of China has come to life today, marking one of the happiest days to come upon the city of Beijing in a long line of history. Will this new princess lead us to greatness in the distant future? Tell us your thoughts by sending us a message to the number XXX-XXX-..."

The sound of the radio was slowly drowned out by the voices lingering about in the throne room. While the country may be in joy, the same couldn't have been said about the royal family, discussing the problem at hand.

"Tom, we can't just let the kingdom fall in flames!", said Sabine sharply as she turned to face her husband. "Well there is no way I'm giving up my daughter to a bunch of low-life cult members.", Tom replied, quite firmly.  "Well then, we're going to have to resort to the last option."

"And what might that be?", "Let's just say, I'm having a small reunion with one of my old acquaintances", Sabine stated, right before she turned and walked out of the room, leaving her husband standing there in curiosity and confusion as the mentioned baby cooed.

*In Sabine's room*

Sabine's POV:

'Am I sure I can trust Talia with Marinette? There isn't any other option. Besides, Mari will have mastered the study of assassins by the time she's of age. She should learn while she's still young. Oh, and I heard that she just got a baby just this past year. That's good. At least she'll have someone to grow up with' she thought.

She moved from her shared bed as she went to reach for her bell to call in the head maid. As she rings it, the pitter-patter of footsteps can be heard, as Julianna - the maid - walks into the room.

"How may I help you, your highness?" asked Julianna. "How many times have I told you Jul, no need for formalities, we've known each other since we were in grade school, for god's sake!", Sabine replied, with a hint of energy in her voice. "Oh I'm sorry Sabine, it's just an instinct", Julianna acknowledged, rather quickly. "So, what might you need?", "I need you to tell the council to schedule a meeting with a Talia al-Ghul" "I'll go tell them right now."

Third POV:

"So, you asked for me?" Said Talia, as she walked into the room smugly. "Ahh, welcome, the infamous Talia I've heard so much about" tom stated, after turning to see the said woman. "It's been a while since I last saw you. Knowing you, you'd want a deal that works for your benefit, don't you?" Sabine inquired, knowing the woman's ways. "Well you weren't wrong. So what I'm going to need here is th.....". As the conversation continued, they all had made a deal by the end of the hour given to them, which required Talia of raising Marinette along with her baby Damian, with all the studies of the assassins, from sparring and combat to academic studies, in exchange of jewels and money from the royal castle and a betrothal to her son.
