Your eyes shoot open as you hear commotion outside of your resting area. You were always ready for a fight, you had to be. Slowly, you sit up in your bed, throwing the thick fabric off of your half covered body. At night, you slept in your undergarments and an oversized t-shirt. After working hard, you liked being comfortable at night. Nevertheless, you made your way to the clean section of your wardrobe and slid on a pair of beige pants. You quickly changed into your everyday outfit, the basic things you wore when you trained with Leia. After you tied your long [h/c] hair into a high pony tail, you hear a knock— no, a pounding— on your door. You rush over to your nightstand where your lightsaber waited for you. "Come in!" You call out as you grab your lightsaber, getting ready to ignite it. When the door swung open and then slammed shut, your eyes examined the figure that entered your room.

With a sigh of relief, you rest the hand holding the lightsaber by your side and roll your eyes. "Poe! What in the name of—"

"No time to talk. The First Order is headed down the corridor right now." Poe stated quickly.

The First Order? How did they find us?

"How?!" You question, the grip on your lightsaber tightening as you heard footsteps. Suddenly Poe grabs you and tackles you to the ground on the side of the bed farthest from the door. You scoff, ready to protest, when he covers your mouth.

"Shhh!" He urged, his free hand on his blaster, aiming at the door. Your heart raced as you heard metal screeching, crushing. Your eyes could barely see over the top of the bed. The loud bang of the door flying off its hinges caused you to flinch, and the immediate shot that Poe took at whoever was standing in the door way. A loud buzz filled your ears, and you realize the glow of a lightsaber. You once again peaked over the bed and your eyes widened. The blaster bolt was hovering, frozen in the air. A man in a mask, wielding a lightsaber, stood in the door frame with two troopers behind him.

"Poe..." You whisper. You weren't afraid, you were nervous. The pilot didn't speak; he couldn't. Slowly, the man in the mask made his way toward you and stood over the two of you. This is when you saw the lightsaber the man held; this was Kylo Ren. You would have recognized the mask if the lighting was sufficient.

"Get him aboard the ship." The man commanded through his mask.

As the troopers walked over and grabbed Poe by the arms, you stood and ignited your lightsaber. "Over my dead body," you spoke out confidently, the blue lightsaber illuminating the situation a bit more. The troopers that grabbed Poe were now heading toward the door. You went to go after them, but much to your dismay, the man stepped between you and the troopers that carried Poe. Crud.

"I'd rather not." The man said, tilting his head to the side. You furrowed your eyebrows, your expression growing confused. You hadn't noticed, but you were subconsciously staring at the man's mask. Who was so cowardly that they had to hide behind a mask. A scoff broke your train of thought, as well as a sharp pain in your head. He was in your mind. Noticing this, you took the chance to charge at the man. However this didn't go as planned. In one swift motion, the man disengaged his lightsaber, clipped it to his side, and used the force to have your saber fly into his left hand. He disengaged your lightsaber that now he held in his hand, and waved his right hand in front of your face as you had approached him. You didn't have time to stop yourself with the momentum you built, and when his hand waved across your face, you instantly felt your eyes getting heavy.

He watched as your consciousness drained. Since you had been charging at him, you fell toward him when you became unconscious. He stumbled back a bit as you fell into his arms, which naturally wrapped around you. He stared down at you for a moment. You didn't look angry anymore, you looked peaceful. He figured he didn't have time to dig through your mind right then and there. He slowly lifted his head and turned to look toward the doorway as he heard footsteps.

"The droid escaped, sir." A man with fiery red hair stated, his composure always punctual. "If we don't leave now, we will have no troops left for our next invasion." He advised.

"Get her to the ship. Safely. I have a feeling I will need to have a talk with Supreme Leader Snoke." Kylo stated, handing your unconscious body to the other man. "And do it with a purpose, General." He sneered before he made his way down the corridor toward the ship. There was something in your mind that he picked up on. There was darkness. Uncertainty. This made the man give a small smirk under his mask; he had finally found an apprentice. He will finally bring an end to the Resistance.
