part 1: new beginning

the sun is setting, i'm walking along the beach, toes in between the sand, my hair blowing in the wind, i hear the waves crashing against the shore

*a few hours earlier*

my mom died in a car accident, all the memories in our old house were with my mom, so my dad and i moved to hawaii to start a new life..

we live in a double story house next to the beach

we have finally settled in and i'm unpacking my things into my new room my dad walks in

"hey jenna, um, i have something i've been needing to tell you"

i sit on the bed beside him

"dad, you know you can tell me anything"

he sighs "i've been seeing someone"

i quickly stand up

"but-" my dad explains, "i think you two will get along really well"

i am furious

"dad, it's been only a few months, and you're already seeing new people? i can't believe you!"

i storm out, slamming the door behind me, i can't believe he has already started dating when mom died just a few months ago.

i run up to the beach and start walking with my feet in the water, with tears in my eyes, everything starts to get blury, i start walking faster, getting angrier by the second

"Hey! watch out!"

i look in the direction of her voice, as she runs towards me, silky, dark brown hair blowing in the wind

I look behind me as i see a ginormous wave racing towards me

i run backwards and i trip over a stone, and she catches me in her arms

She carries me up to the beach and sets me down in the sand

"you saved me" i say

as i stare at her bright green glowing eyes as they twinkle under the stars

i can't help but stare at her lushess lips, pink and plump, her soft skin, her hair falling out of a messy bun framing her perfectly
shaped face.

"be careful next time" she says smiling at me, with her cute dimples.

i giggle "i'll try"

she gets up and says "see you around"

she jogs along the beach, i blink and sigh of relief as i get up and start walking home.

i get to the front door, and hear people laughing inside.

i open the door and i see hally

"sienna, you're back, this is my girlfriend, brianna, and her daughter, hally"

my heart skips a beat
