After all the events that happened on Christmas Day, I haven't talked to anyone since then. I was getting dressed in my spy suit I had made two months ago, I sighed as I grabbed the device and head to the front door. Until I got stopped by Ukyo, I sighed and said.
"What do you want, Ukyo?"
I asked without giving him a glance while putting on my jacket.
"On behalf of all the brothers here, I deeply apologize for what happened to Ema"
"Ukyo... It's not easy... Because of that incident, it brought me memories that I don't want to remember"
"I understand that, Misaki. We deeply again apologize for bringing those memories back"
"My job always brings it back to me. I may not show it but it affects me that's why I work alone"
"Why?"
"I don't want to talk about it, I'm late, please do not interfere"
"Then tell me why?!"
"Ukyo you're pushing it, stop"
"I want to know to help you Misaki! I care about you, everyone cares about you Misaki"
"Stop this instant!"
"No, I will not."
"Then I'll just leave!"
I opened the front door and glanced at Ukyo then I left to catch the train. I sighed and give my ticket to the conductor of the train as I went to sit down by a window when it slowly started to rain. Ever since I woke up, I couldn't bear to see anyone since that dream/flashback of me and my friend, Emily.
All those years I kept thinking that it was my fault that she died if I was paying attention to my surroundings she would've been alive by now. I promised her that I won't blame myself for her death and I'll avenge her once I get stronger.
However, it still broke me inside, I wish could've done more for her. She's the only reason that I work alone because I don't want anyone else to have the same fate has her.
{We Arrived at Your Destination}
I hear the announcer as I stood and grabbed the device started making my way to the given address. I put my hood on to keep my identity a secret until I arrived at my destination address, it took me a few minutes to find it since I wasn't familiar with the town. I saw the beast 'I hate calling him that, I'll ask for his name IF he doesn't kill me'
"Beastman. I'm here with the device"
"Welcome to the graveyard where my family is buried"
"Before we start. Can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead"
"What's your name? I don't want to call you beastman, it just sounds rude"
"Harold. My name is Harold, mortal human"
"Okay, thank you. Call me Hinata"
"That's your last name, human."
"I know that. Is that I don't get what's going on with you, betraying the mafia like that there's must be a reason"
