Dedicated to RavenWriter9 for three reasons:
1) She commented for 'Why'
2) Peaches the Genius and Kate the Great are an iconic duo and shall remain more superior that Sabrina Carpenter and Joey King (which would also be an inside thing, again DM's are a crazy place)
3) i stan you or whatever 🥺👉🏼👈🏼

Raven walked to the beat of the city's song; the street lamps like a spotlight in the New York City night sky. The taxi cab horns honked along to the rhythm of the subway rustling beneath her. The wind flowing through her hair like a naturistic symphony and the sound of speed walking keeping a steady tempo.Phoenix smiled at the sunshine coming through her open windows; the golden hues like a nature-made highlighter from the New York City morning sky. She shivered in the heat, the midsummer sun being too cold for her cold blood.
Raven tugged at her t-shirt, the midsummer night air, feeling like a heater on her skin. Her headphones placed neatly on her head as she danced along to the music.
Phoenix hummed along to the radio, singing to the sweet melodies created by the three little birds perched on her windowsill. She decided to take a walk on the buzzing pavements, a hoodie hanging lazily over her shoulders.
On her path back home, Raven found herself in an alleyway, a mirror leaning against the wall, surrounded by sunflowers. An indescribable feeling came over her. It was as if the mirror was drawing her in. A shimmering, orange light sparkled over the mirror and pulled her in and she found herself falling.
On her way to the supermarket, Phoenix came across a strange, shimmering orange light in the reflection of the plastic concealing a bundle of white roses. All at once, a force pushed her in until she found herself falling.
Raven woke up in a field of flowers. She looked up at the sky, the stars crossing right in an intricate pattern. Although it was night, the sun was where the moon should've been. An icy sensation flowed through her veins, bright blue frost erupting in the palm of her hands. The same mirror stood below her and she could see that her eyes were the same icy color.
Phoenix felt the grass underneath her fingertips, the same white roses in a neat flower bed next to her. A fiery sensation shot through her system until a burning, red flame shot through her hands, her eyes lit ablaze.
That's when they met each other's gaze. It was like a magnetic force was pulling them closer together. And every so slowly, blue met red-ice met fire and a stream of purple fireworks exploded above their heads.
They were so different but like fire and ice, they worked so perfectly together. They met on the same side- in some peculiar dimension.
The question was:
Why?
