"Heyy" Astrid came up behind me and kissed me.
"Hi," why did she have to turn up when everything was going so well
"Aren't you going to introduce me babe?" She glared at me.
"Um this is Jack, Krisstof, Hans, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Eugene"
"Hi" she said smiling at Snotlout and Tuffnut in particular. I cleared my throat "so Astrid do you want to meet everyone else" I said feeling slightly protective
"Whatever you want babe" but I saw her roll her eyes at Snotlout and Tuffnut as we walked away.
We walked silently but just as it got awkward we saw meg and merida laughing about something
"Hi" I said feeling self conscious talking to mer when Astrid was there
"Astrid this is meg, meg this is Astrid"
"Hi As-" she burst out laughing at that point and merida had to nudge her "hi Astrid" meg said again
"Hiccup and I are together" Astrid said
"Um uh merida this is Astr-" I stuttered
"We've already met" she said sharply.
"Whats up with her?" Astrid said as we walked away.
