So a lot has happened, semester 2 of uni started. But most importantly I suffered some loss.
Today has been the hardest day I've ever experienced this year. I just want to go back to a couple days ago when everything was fine.
Today my family had the hard task of saying goodbye to our 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella.
She was the goodest girl who couldn't hurt a fly (even if she tried to eat them..) who went deaf at the beginning of the year and she suffered from a heart murmur (that we kept under control with meds). However, yesterday when my mum took her to the vet, we found out her heart was the size of a great dane's heart (massive) and it was putting pressure on her lungs making it hard for her to breathe. So she stayed at the vet overnight, we prayed she would be alright.
Today we received news that she hadn't responded to treatment at all, and she wasn't going to get any better anytime soon. So my parents made the very difficult decision to put her to sleep so she wasnt in any more pain.
Tonight was a very hard time for both me and my siblings, as saying goodbye to a companion of around 10 years is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.
Rest in peace my gorgeous girl.
We will miss you so much.
