A month later. Caroline had to pretend to be married to Damon. To get FP off Damon's back. She didn't like the idea. But she did it for Stefan. Because Damon is her brother in law. She had told Bonnie about the plan. And Bonnie was okay about. Bonnie still insisted on not getting together with Damon. Because of his past. Caroline couldn't believe it. Maybe she shouldn't have opened up her big mouth. Maybe she should've kept quiet. She shook her head at that thought. FP walked into the boarding house with his son Jughead. "My money then?" FP asks. Damon handed FP the bag full of money. "Hey what's that on your hand?" Jughead asks. "My wedding ring." Damon lied. "Wedding ring?" FP asks. Damon gave a nod. Damon pulled Caroline close go him. And kissed her on top of her head. And put his hand on Caroline stomach. "And pregnant." FP spoke. "Yep. - I'm going to be a dad." Damon smiled. Fp gave a nod. As did Jughead. And they left.

Stefan walked downstairs. "Do you think it worked?" Stefan asks. Damon gave a nod. "It certainly did. - here is your ring back." Damon spoke. "Right. - I'm going to Bonnie's. - talk to you both later." Caroline gave Stefan a quick kiss. And then left. "The grill?" Stefan asks. "Yes. - and I'll look for a job." Damon spoke. "Sounds like a plan." Stefan spoke. And they went off to the grill. And saw FP and Jughead there. And Stefan quickly took off his ring and gave it to Damon. And Damon put it on. "Who is this?" Fp asks. "My younger brother. - he visiting from France." Damon spoke. "So you missed the wedding then?" Jughead asks. "Unfortunately so." Stefan spoke. "And have you heard the great news?" Fp asks. "What news is that?" Stefan asks. "You are going to be an uncle." Jughead spoke. Stefan turned around. "Congratulations Damon. - I know you'll make a great dad." Stefan now hugged his brother.

Caroline now at Bonnie's sat her down. "Look I was wrong. - I was wrong about Damon. - I was wrong about him not going to change. - and I shouldn't have told you about him. - Damon has changed. - and for the better. - look all I'm saying is give him a chance. - do a trail dating for a month. - and you can make up your own mind." Caroline spoke. "But I'm glad you did. - but I don't know if I can put up with his past." Bonnie spoke. "His past. - is just that. - his past. - he is looking to put all that behind him. - he wants to settle down. - get married. - and have children. - we had a real long talk. - before FP came. - he has fallen for you. - since the first day he saw you." Caroline spoke. Bonnie smiled. "Fine. - you win. - tell Damon he is getting a month long trail. - to prove himself to me." Bonnie spoke.
