PROLOGUE

We may change, improve and progress. We may forget and move on. We may try to slow down time too, but at the end, we find ourselves in a world where control, power, excellence and order are the only ways that allow you to survive in this messed up society. Where it is easier to follow the flow of life no matter where it takes you without struggling for what really matters, or even fighting for what you want.

If I need to say one thing I've learned by finding myself in front of this blank page, it is that I finally have the possibility to express myself freely without regrets. I have the possibility to say the truth without being judged because yes, the world needs truths to move forward. We need to yell loud and clear ; screw your damn orders because friendship matters, happiness is precious, and freedom is our right.

But what's really important is what you can't understand alone, it is rather what friends are here to make you understand. We need friends because the human being needs to be surrounded and loved. No matter who we are, where we come from, your skin color, we all have to stand together. Everything is possible when you have the right person to support you, that's what I learned during this story.

Thanks to my friends I understood what love is, thanks to my friends I understood what loyalty, fidelity and unity really mean. I learned to love in return and appreciate the simple moments of life.

Above all, I've learned that life is short and sacrifices should be beyond everything. We even say that great things never get done and accomplished without sacrifices...
