Waking up I could hear laughter while someone's footsteps could be heard coming upstairs. I heard Stokeley's voice tell my mother okay before he pushed the room door open making me jump up.
His smile lowered as he closed the door and locked it.
"I thought we had a deal" he told me I nodded.
"Please" I spoke broken while he hovered over me.
He just started to pick up the book bag and slides, sitting them by the door before trying to help me out if the bed but I shook my head.
"I'm not going with you" I told him and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"What the fuck you mean you it going with me?" He asked making me began to get scared.
"I'm not going with you Stokeley so you can lock me away" I told him and he chuckled.
"Mila you don't have a choice, come on" he told me and I shook my head.
"Leave me alone" I told him and he scoffed.
He came over to the bed and picked me up making me scream so my mom could hear. He sighed and put me back down on the bed making he feel relief.
We soon heard footsteps before my mother knocked on the door "are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah we're fine, just playing" I lied and I could hear her walking away mumbling stuff.
"You really gone do this?" He asked me and I nodded.
"I can't be with you anymore Stokeley, I love you but you scare me and you keep trying to take me away from everyone and everything I know and love" I told him and he nodded.
He dropped the book bag in my lap before roughly grabbing my face "you don't have to worry about me no more okay?" He spoke before he started to walk out.
I let him walk out without saying bye or anything because I didn't want to feel like I was wrong for doing this because I wasn't. I'm doing this for the safety of me and my baby and he obviously doesn't even care about that.
"Why'd Stokeley just leave here crying?" My mother came in and asked me.
"I told him I can't be with him anymore" I told her and she gasped.
"Why?" She asked and I shrugged.
"I just felt like it wasn't working out."
