HER FOOTSTEPS WERE ALMOST SILENT the only thing that showed she was moving had been the leaves under her bare feet. Crunching on the ground below her as she continued to run.
It wasn't fair, none of it was.
The only thing she wanted was to continue the life so graciously given to her. Not for it to be cut short by the blade of a killer. Even if they weren't one to her and every other demon they were.
" You're not getting away "
She knew that much already but hearing it only made it worse. Her movements began to grow sloppy at the weapon swinging ever so closer to her body. Cutting up her hand when she got too close.
It wasn't until a rock was suddenly kicked up at her figure was she forced to stop. Hitting the back of her shin and forcing her legs to wobble. The slight uncoordination that happened after that was enough to get her caught.
" You will finally be put where you belong "
The demon stared at the slayer in only desperation. Knowing all too well that no matter what she tried to do she was going to die. Everything that she had 'lived' and done was going to be for nothing. And, at this point, she accepted it.
All of it.
So without as much as another glance for escape she opened her arms to embrace death. Having watched a familiar mother demon do the same she took after her. But the man in front of her wasn't as forgiving as the younger boy.
His eyes burned with hatred as he glared at her figure.
" Pathetic "
The words didn't sting, only the blade had. Cutting straight down through her neck and making her take her last breath. Her [e/c] orbs opened to see the slowly fading blue one's that had killed her.

That's what she wanted to say. A part of her happy to finally be freed from the life she had known as being a demon. No longer would she have to kill and feast away at people. Instead she'd be condemned to hell where she belonged.
