The Unknown Source Of Energy.

   After The Resistance and the rest of the mobians clean up the mess that was caused by Eggman's Empire, all of them continue their daily things. Blaze and Silver went back to the future where they belong. Shadow, Omega and Rouge continue their missions with G.U.N. The Chaotix just chilling with Cream's mother. Amy was taking care of Cream while playing with her. And last but not least, Tails and Sonic was just chilling in Tails's workshop.

Sonic was just laying down on the roof on top of Tails's workshop while Tails working on his new invention called "The High-Tech Sensor 34-C". Sonic was just staring at the sky,

Sonic: *talks in his mind.* Hmm...it's been months since we all saw Egghead. Wonder what happened to him and also, what happened to Infinite that time..?

A Sudden Flashback...

Infinite: *gets up weakly* Impossible. I cannot be defeated.

Sonic: Wrong, loser! The things that can't be defeated are heart, soul, and the bonds of friendship.

Gadget: *nods as a yes.*

Sonic: Three things you and your counterfeit cronies lack!

Infinite: ugh... *smashes his fist to the ground and all of the sudden, his body floats and glitches more than usual.*

*dissapears into thin air and went straight to Eggman's base."

Sonic and Gadget: *Was shock and just shrug each other after that.*

End of Flashback...

Sonic: Hmm...

Tails: *went outside of his workshop, looks on top on his roof and saw Sonic laying down on top of there.* Hey, Sonic!

Sonic: *Looks down.* Hm? Oh, hey, Tails! What's up?

Tails: Come on in! I want to show you my greatest invention yet!

Sonic: Oh okay! Be there in a sec! *jumps down and walks in the workshop.*

Tails: *follows Sonic from behind.*

Sonic: *sits on the couch and looks at his buddy while eating a chili dog.*So, what's the thing that you wanted to show me, buddy?

Tails: It's not just "a thing"! It's my greatest invention yet! *his eyes become like stars 🤩" Wait here! *rushes to his work bench to get something.*

Sonic: *giggles a bit and talks quitely.* He's always excited about his inventions..and I'm proud of him.

Tails: *appears out of nowhere.* I'M HERE!

Sonic: *scream in shock and looks at Tails.*

Tails: ??? You okay, Sonic?

Sonic: *giggles.* I'm okay. Go on and show me your invention.

Tails: Oh, right! *shows his invention to Sonic.* Tadaaaaaa! I called this.."The High-Tech Sensor 34-C". Well, I did decided to named it 69-C but whatever! Taaadaaaaa!

Sonic: Oh wow! Looks cool! What does this invention do?

Tails: Well, this machine can help us detect any souce of power that is hidden around us. No matter how far it is the source, this invention can still detect them.

Sonic: Oh cool-

Suddenly, a hedgehog appears, which is Shadow The Hedgehog, on the screen of Tails's computer. Sonic and Tails looks at the screen of the computer.
