Author's note: I wanted to write some comfort stuff with Keiji and Rin-
(Obscure_Mystery tagging them since Rin IS technically their character-)
Keiji woke up from light shaking of his shoulder. He sat up slightly to see his younger sister, Rin, standing beside his bed, tears staining her face. "Rin..? What seems to be the matter?" He asked, concern lining his tone. Rin whimpered, clutching onto her teddy bear tightly. "Did you have a nightmare?" With that, Rin nodded, sniffling. "Come here." Rin climbed on his bed and he held her close, gently rubbing circles into her back.
He knew how to calm her down. So, he began to sing softly to her.
"Lets go in the gardens
You'll find something waiting
Right there where you left it, lying upside down
When you finally find it
You'll see how it's faded
The underside is lighter when you turn it around
Everything stays right where you left it
Everything stays, but it still changes
Ever so slightly, daily and nightly
In little ways...
Everything stays..."
When Keiji finished singing, Rin had a small smile on her face, sleeping soundly in his arms. "Heh. Good night Rin." He gently laid her down on the bed and laid next to her. "I'll always be here to protect you, Rin. No matter what." Keiji had a small smile on his face as he drifted off to unconsciousness.
