Vivian savoured the tickle of the wind as she swerved through Adelaide roads. The sky was tinged with a soft pink colour that matched her warm cheeks.

Her cheeks flushed even redder when a group of rather godly teenagers called her. Stepping on the edge of her board, she held it against her hip as she approached them.

"Do you mind taking a picture for us?"

Vivi eyes widened at the request of the red haired girl. Her lips was stretched faintly as she received the stranger's phone. "Sure."

Vivi's gaze flitted to the rest of the group, resting on a certain blonde who seemed as mesmerised as she was. She focused on the screen as she took swift snaps.

Although they posed goofily for the camera, she could feel his stare through the lens.

Somehow, it gave her a warmer feeling than her sweater did.

Her lids fluttered open, greeted by her polaroids covered wall. She was sat on the floor, against her bed frame. Still dazed, she tucked her head on her elbow as she tried to process her surroundings.

"Still experiencing the jet lag?" her sister asked as she came in, pleasantly surprised by Vivi's artwork. "You must've fallen asleep on the floor while doing this, huh?"

Vivi chuckled as she rose from her sitting position, her back sore. "I wanted to make Kin jealous. He likes taking pictures as well. His skills would never precede mine, though."

"You guys going to the same school?" Faye asked.

Vivi shook her head. "No but his school is near from mine. We'd probably meet frequently."

Faye nodded, notifying Vivi that she brought some sushi before leaving her room.

Vivi assessed her wall, her features giddy. All of her polaroids were filled with people, all except one.

A fading sunset in the midst of familiar faces.

Although the colours were faded, she still remembered how vibrant it actually was. She still remembered how chilly the air was. She still remembered how the light of the sun would seep in between the orange clouds.

And how beautiful his skin glowed from it.

She wouldn't say that it was love at first sight.

But it was surely something.
