After the plane landed I took a cab home , my dad was not there yet so I decided to just go in my room and have my weekly session with my therapist early today.
"Hey lee how was your flight?" "It was really good actually I made a new friend named Avery , she's gonna be going to the same collage as me too!" "Well that's good to hear, so I've looked at your charts you don't seem as depressed anymore . But I do have something I would like you to try , okay?" "Sure what is it?" "I would like you to make a journal of some sort maybe even a video journal , I just feel like it's good so you can look back and reflect , it also helps you get things out. After she hung up the phone I got up to go make some food. As I was cooking my father came in the door . I dropped everything right then and there and flew into my dad almost taking him to the floor.
"Hey lee lee I guess you missed me huh" "Oh shush "
Me and my father talked for hours on end and I ate my delicious food. Then I got a text from Avery
Avery😜 Hey girlie wanna go do something fun?
Lee✨ I'd have to ask my dad if I can go out but sure what is it?
Avery 😜 It's a surprise.. now go find out and get ready I'll be there in 6

I toss my phone on my bed and go into my dads office .
"Heyyy dad" "Yes sweetie?" "Can I maybe go out with a friend tonight?" "It's your first night ?!" "Yea you're right I guess Ill just say home sorry for bothering you" "Wait, who's this friend?" "Her name is Avery and she's 22" "I'll have to meet her first then you can go" "OMG yay thanks dad" "Mhmm"
I skipped out of my dads room in excitement. Then I texted Avery I can go and rushed to my closet to pick what to put on. I ended up with a yellow shirt and blue jeans.
After a few minutes I got a call from Avery saying she was here . I got my dad and we went to the main entrance of our apartment complex together.my dad met Avery and I think they are okay my dad says she's gonna be a good friend and I would hope so . Then we got into the cab
"So can you finally tell me where we going?" "Hmmm I don't know should i?" "Common please" "Fine , were going to a party" "Oh nice" "Yep , also you look cute. Pose!"

After the car ride to the house where the party was being held we get out of the car and walk up to the door. This is gonna be a fun night. It's my first party here , and it's not gonna be my last I thought as I walked through the wooden framed door
