Derek stayed with me and we decided to watch a movie . The movie ended and I looked and saw Derek knocked out on my bed . Poor boy, he was crying all day . I got up and got a blanket for derek. I was covering him when someone opened my door .
Andrew: Oh , i'm sorry i'll be back.
Cherry: No it's fine he fell asleep .
Andrew: Are y'all together or ?
Cherry: Oh ! no no no, i was just helping him out with some girl problems .
Andrew: Oh okay. I was just wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me . I got a new apartment and I need to decorate it but you're the only girl so I thought why not ask you for help.
Cherry: Oh , of course . Let me just get my bag and my phone .
I reached over Derek and grabbed my phone from the either side of the bed . I felt derek grab my hand .
Cherry: Oh .
I looked at Derek and he was still asleep. I carefully pulled my hand out and grabbed my purse.
We arrived at bed bath and beyond and we picked up a couple of things. Next we went to his house and I helped him place some things where I thought they'd look good.
Andrew: Thanks cherry.
Cherry: No problem.
Andrew drove me back to the apartment and before i got out I felt him pull me by the arm.
Andrew: I know this isn't the right place to tell you this since we don't know each other too well but I think i'm starting to catch feelings for you.
At that moment I was in complete shock. I didn't know how to feel. I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't tell him i did too because I didn't know yet.
Cherry: Andrew, I don't want to bring your hopes up and tell you I have feelings too but I don't what you to think i'm rejecting you either . I think we should just get to know each other more.
Andrew: Yeah. Well I'll see you tomorrow Cherry.
Cherry: Bye Andrew.
I kissed his cheek and walked into the apartment building.
I closed the apartment door and I could hear my heart beating out of my chest. That really just happened . I know it's not that big but I really just never expected that to happen.
I walked into my room and Derek was on my need looking at the ceiling .
Cherry: Are you okay?
Derek: It didn't work Cherry. We're over .
Derek didn't take his eyes off the ceiling the whole time .
Cherry: Oh, Derek. I - i'm so sorry. Come here .
I crawled into bed and put Derek in my arms. I felt tears come out of his eyes.
Cherry: I know it hurts but it'll get better . I promise. She's missing out.
Derek: I don't know how to feel. I don't know . It's all just unreal. I really lived her cherry .
Cherry: I get it Derek. I get it . I'll be here for you to help you keep your mind off of her and make it easier.
Derek: Thanks Cherry. I really appreciate it.
I heard someone come in my room and when i looked up and saw Andrew standing in the door.
Andrew: I- i'm sorry. I'll just go .
Andrew closed the door .
Cherry: Oh no .
I quickly got up and followed Andrew.
Cherry: Andrew hold up !
Andrew: Why should I cherry. So you can tell me that I should get to know what I just saw more.
Cherry: It's not what it looks like.
Andrew: Oh yeah, so you didn't tell me that you wanted to get to know me better after i told you how I felt and right after you come and flirt with another guy.
Cherry: That's not what happened Andrew.
Andrew : You know what. It's whatever I have no place in being mad. I mean you don't feel the same way right .
Cherry: Andrew please !
I felt tears roll down my face .
Andrew just looked at me and walked out of the apartment slamming the door . I dropped to the ground and I heard Corey, Derek, and Kobe tun towards me .
After that , all i remember is everything going black.
